Of course, Ash already has a lot of experience in that matter- being burnt by various fire types (including an overlevelled Charizard's full-blown attack), all that pain from Ash-Greninja (in short, Ash felt the pain of all the attacks made by Alain's Charizard, and WIHTOUT a Pokemon's resistance), but I feel more sorry for Rockruff. It's like a teenager- a bundle of hormones who'll later feel sorry for its angsty actions, and it is also in the process of choosing a form to evolve, a decision which will effect its entire life.

Yeah, I feel for Rockruff. It doesn't intend to be acting like that. I kind of hope that Rockruff will feel bad after this, only so Ash can comfort it and give it a hug and Ash will assure it that it wasn't its fault. Maybe that will happen in SM037.

I just noticed that Lana and Lillie don't seem to carry their Pokemon at all here, so that means they will be inside their Pokeballs? Whenever they show up, they seem to carry Popplio and Snowy around.

Oh yeah, but that doesn't mean it appears as a non-speaking role character because its voice isn't listed here. What about Steenee, Togedemaru and Snowy? I mean, Steenee did appear in SM033, but her voice wasn't listed so she appeared as a non-speaking character. What's the point of having the main characters here not having their voices listed in the cast at all?

Maybe because they want them to show up even if they don't speak, due to consistency, or they made a mistake on the VA lists and considering they did correct that mistake in SM034, it's possible some or all of them could be added after this airs.

Also, the reason Glalie was mentioned in the preview was because after Mallow tells Ash that the pose for the Z-Move he's practicing is bad, wrong, and that he needs to position his hands properly, Lana tells Mallow that her face is an Onigohri, which is a reference to the "Oni" part of the name, a demon in Japanese mythology. Suffice it to say, Twitter took that line and ran had some fun with it.

One hope for this episode is that Rowlet and/or Rockruff reveal some new moves
