“This is the first shrinking episode! SM is so original!”

Expect that we actually got a shrinking episode in the past.

Yes, but only Pokemon were involved since it was an illusion world. This time Ash will interact with humans too.

So? Is that so special? It has been done in many animes before, so they took the plot from another series. 0% orginal.

Yes the shrinking thing has been done many times before, I'm aware, but that is not all there is to such a plot.

What else it has is the situations the shrunken character gets into, that's important for the entertainment part.

And Sun & Moon has been really good at humour, so there's a high chance this could end up as a fun episode.

Correction: We haven't seen him own a Psychium Z and Z-Ring. Sawyer from XY should be enough evidence that we doesn't get to see every single bit of a side character's Pokémon team growth.
@Gengarzilla
That also included Misty & Brock. How they get the Keystone & Megastone for Gyarados & Steelix mega evolve in the first place is still unexplainable.

Am I the only one who thinks this summary looks everything but Pokemon? The closest we've got was that Natsume episode, and even that wasn't this weird. Are they trying to parody Honey, I Shrunk the Kids or something? xD

As long as they don't go into a computer then all of the younger viewers will be safe.

Or have Team Rocket fire a rocket launcher while in a computer... because Pikachu's thunder bolt caused a flashing problem and got Porygon banned!

This title could make for a very suggestive PokeProblem of the week.

Remember the ORAS demo? Depending on which country you were in, one of the rewards was a stone for Steelix. Brock probably got it around the same time Sawyer got his for Sceptile (wouldn't be surprised if Dawn, Iris, and May were there too)

Meanwhile, Misty got her stone after it came hurtling down from the sky after it was blasted off Lysandre during the end of the Kalos Crisis

It all makes sense now...

@Twilight-Kun
If that is true. Then, why the writer never allowing the episodes to happens for Ash and his Classmate visiting other region except only his hometown. Beside, I wanted the next one to Hoenn specialy legendaries trio of the weather members had mention throughout the series including at the end of episode 79.

Where it could had developing even more relationships and learning about the Pokémon Coordinator. But sadly no, because, they rush everything for that during the promotion of Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon for the sake of money. Now, I also afraid the thugs of team skull bosses (Guzma & Plumeria) is going to replaced by the corporation mafia gang, Bourgain. Which will be pissed a lot of people off, if the upcoming future episodes haven't making them entry in the series after episode 85. It is already pretty damn obvious.

Wouldn't surprise me if they're saving Guzma for the Rainbow Rocket episodes, having him show up once Giovanni starts muscling in on what he sees as "his" turf

It absolutely pointless for him to introduce so late, especially after the Ultra Necrozma and Alola League Arc end. It didn't make sense for the team skull leader to making appearance when the series is almost came to conclusions.

So I wish, he and Plumeria starting to making the entrance of the series after the episode 85. Because, we're going to need him.

We've never had a proper shrink episode in Pokemon
The closest thing we have is that bizarre Diamond and Pearl episode someone mentioned at the top of this page where they go into that circus tent and become small. Whatever the case, I’m sure certain individuals on DeviantArt will get a kick out of it.

Various summaries with very little differences:

Today's class has Sauboh from Aether Paradise as a special lecturer. In order to get the students interested in science, he has prepared a machine that can turn anything big small with a single flick of a switch. He prepares to give them a demonstration right away, but incredibly enough, Satoshi and the others end up becoming tiny......?!

Sauboh has arrived from Aether Paradise, and is going to serve as a special lecturer at the Pokémon School. In order to get Satoshi and the others interested in science, he presents a machine that can make objects small with a single flick of a switch. However, an accident occurs and Satoshi and the others end up having their bodies shrunk.

Satoshi becomes tiny thanks to Sauboh's machine!
Sauboh from Aether Paradise acts as a special lecturer for a class at the Pokémon School. He had prepared a machine that can turn big things small, but it won't work right. And when he finally thought he got it started, Satoshi ends up becoming tiny?
