It was about time a character in the anime who owns or has befriended a Legendary/Mythical makes an appearance. AS had Brandon & Noland and DP had Tobias, random Heatran trainer and the Nurse Joy with her Latias. Even though SM is far from my favorite, the series is doing way better than the oblivious BW and the isolated XY. This is why I'm looking forward to this episode

When Satoshi and Pikachu recovered consciousness, they found that they had been sent to an unknown place. They were then suddenly attacked by a creature as big as a mountain! These overly sudden developments caused them to panic like crazy!!

There's nothing at all here as far as the eye can see!
This is supposed to be good old Alola, isn't it?! Satoshi and Pikachu are shocked by the desolate scenery...

Either way, we have to escape!
Is that a Pokémon? Or is it something else?! I have no chance against it with just Pikachu!

The Mythical Pokémon Zeraora Stands Up Against It!!
What shows up next is, believe it or not, the mythical Pokémon Zeraora! It appears it carries on a solitary fight against the Ultra Beast Akuziking here in this world.

Zeraora's partner Dia is a veteran Trainer that saved Satoshi.

Zeraora is powerful!
Its super fast attacks are plenty powerful too! It stands up against Akuziking using its speed as a weapon!

It battles Pikachu?!
Both Pokémon specialize in Electric type moves. What will be the outcome of their test of each others' strength?

"The Lightning that Blocks Winsd! Its Name is Zeraora!!" and "Fire it Off! The Twin Sparking Gigavolt of Friendship!!" air December 9th and 16th!

Zeraora plays a major role in the Pokémon movie as well!
Zeraora was incredibly popular in the Pokémon movie from this summer as well! It will soon be out on Bluray and DVD, so check out what it did in the movie one more time!
Zeraora fought to stop the disaster about to befall the Pokémon.

Zeraora vs Guzzlord looks awesome. I think it will be the first mythical vs legendary battle in the series (excluding movies & specials).

They didn't reveal much about Dia, other than his name and that he is a veteran. Does that mean he is too old for the league? Also, Dia is Spanish for Day, so Noche is Marshadow's Trainer confirmed.

That’s... a really good plot point, actually.

Wonder if they would have to guts to go down this route, considering a Faller dying to UBs is canon in the games.

Yeah, the SM cast already crossed 4 Ultra Wormholes without a scratch.
Ash recovering his memories with Brock and Misty's help would be a really nice plot but we have to accept it's not happening in a light hearted series like this one. Well, actually we got the Lillie/Silvally thing, but I still don't think it's feasible.
