In Sun and Moon, they're portrayed as invasive species that are threatening their surroundings, and thus, very threatening. In Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, where most of them are fought in Ultra Space, you fight them in their home worlds, so they are only threatening in the sense that they're powerful and unknown, not because they're in an unfamiliar environment that causes them to act violently.

Ultra Beasts aren't meant to be threatening by nature, but by the fact that they're acting like you would expect from someone thrown somewhere unfamiliar, filled with creatures they don't know and act defensively. Actually, that's how it's also flipped in the Ultra games: the threatening aura of the Ultra Beasts comes from you facing then in an unfamiliar environment, as creatures you've never seen before.

A) I'm pretty sure that "the threatening aura of the Ultra Beasts comes from you facing then in an unfamiliar environment, as creatures you've never seen before" argument isn't true and that the aura is actually their Beast Boost ability activating (it's even accompanied by a stat boos, so it can't just be you feeling intimidated + the same aura appears even in SM, when you face them in an environment that you're familiar with (on the routes across Alola)).
B) From the point of view of the humans, the Ultra Beasts are threatening, something that's kept consistent between the original and upper versions of the games. Again, when you first meet them in their homeworlds in USUM, they have this imposing feeling to them. Like they're something you should be afraid of. Beings you should be cautious about. In SM, the International Police asks for your help to catch the UB after you've become Champion, which proves that you're strong enough to help. And even then, Anabel and Nanu battle the player in order to test them and make sure that they're up to the task. Why couldn't the same be done for the UBs in the anime?

Well now, looks like Lana's Nagisa is absent. I bet Pheromosa's gonna steal Lillie's Icium-Z.

Shocked, Lillie has an...

Only joking, I didn't forget though the writers might have. Maybe this is the episode Lillie gets a Z-Ring
Like I'll stated before, the only way for Lillie to improve her development. It will be back to the Mount Lanakila again. But If the writer, decided give her Z-Ring randomly in this episode. Then, it okay for me. However, if that doesn't occurs then worse case scenario will be at the conclusion of the series or blinding one make the appearance to create it for her.

Nonetheless, we still got one more Ultra Beast (Kartana, the giant shuriken), then all UB making debuted in anime will be completed.

Yes, the toughest Ultra Beast for them to deal with due to the fact it has paper katanas for arms that can cut through anything.

And not to mention move like a Shuriken and it world is drew inspirational from Naruto. That wasn't a surprise after all.

Holy Miltank, the preview shows Bewear actually using a move
Yeah, It been so fricking long ever since from start of episode one, that is something else. However, as for that it the Princess Cockroach just dodge without any difficulty to proved how deadly this Ultra Beast is.

It looks way more exciting than the Bewear/Buzzwole stand off

Yeah, definitely hell a lot better than that Buzzwole only to showed off it muscle. This one is definitely on it attack people, stealing all Z-Crystal whatever can find and claim for it own for it jewellery collection, I think?

Anyway, here is the first preview:

I'm really looking forward to this episode now.

Maybe Bewear doesn't like Pheromosa messing with Team Rocket?

Maybe Bewear doesn't like Pheromosa messing with Team Rocket?
Jealously perhaps? Which may trigger her instinct to confront the Pheromosa, that tried to trick Meowth with her beauty seen in preview.

Nonetheless, for Lillie getting her own Z-Ring theory in this episode is out of question.

Looks better than the Meltan episode.
Any episode is better than those termite that ate metal stuff for living including the grand trial of Hapu. Despite, out of anime logic for the immunity and weaknesses explanation.

The Hapu episodes were nice, specially the mist episode, which is one of the best ones in this series, but the Meltan introduction episode was a sorry mess in my opinion.
