Lillie already mastered her Z-Move offscreen during SM123, so I'm expecting she'll Friendship ex Machina Megearna into working order in time for the League and know how to use it in battle

It's Lillie, so no, her mastering her Z-Move will be something we see on-screen because she's the writers' favorite character. Her mastering her Z-Move was never mentioned.

If we got a whole episode dedicated to Sophocles perfecting his Z-Move, then the same is happening with Lillie in this one.

And it certainly hasn't faded, she still has character arcs and still gets featured prominently on marketing

The most logical outcome of Lillie's story is Mohn watching her and Magearna on TV and remembering who they are.

Another Ultra Space arc would be beyond lame.

I think the Mohn discovery requires more buildup. They don't even know where to look from yet.

My guess is Mohn will be found after the League. Perhaps the final arc could at least partially revolve around him?

Maybe the end of the league will have something lead into it, an Ultra Wormhole suddenly appearing, like how Team Flare began their operation right after the Kalos league

They shouldn't have. The League was fine with concluding just before the crisis started. It getting interrupted would've caused a much worse outrage.
