Why suddenly leave it behind if there wasn't a clear indication to it in the past?

Just a quick guess, but...I'm confused as to why Ash is leaving when he clearly doesn't want to. The only thing that could happen is that Kukui considers that he has nothing to learn after their battle so he "graduates" Ash by force.
One problem I have is the summaries imply Ash is having trouble telling his classmates he's heading back home, how is this any different to other endings?
Who said that he doesn't want to leave Alola? He's a traveler at heart.I'm confused as to why Ash is leaving when he clearly doesn't want to
Not that those forgettable mons really deserved anything better, to be honest.I really do wish they would bring Mimikyu and Mareanie with them as their journey continues, but leaving them with Bewear and Stufful is certainly better than actually giving them away to Giovanni like their Unova Pokemon.
The same way he solves all major goodbyes, with a flashback montage!I wonder how Ash will solve this, we know Ash isn't a big talker
Hopefully they use Rotom's photographs for that. The same way he solves all major goodbyes, with a flashback montage!
Just pictured in my head a montage of Rotom's photographs shown with the song "Vacation, all I ever wanted...".Hopefully they use Rotom's photographs for that.
Honestly, Type:Wild montages will feel out of place when there's no battling or Ash involved. Always have.I hope there isn’t another Type:Wild+Montage, I'm getting tired of those.
And what about Mallow fleeing her Shaymin? Will that happen or not?
