So has anyone *never* seen a shiney?

Considering how they come roughly once every 8192 Pokemon, I suspect that there will be those that have never seen a shiny. I've only seen one since 99 (Gyarados doesn't count... and the chances of finding a Shiny in GSC was different, because it was determined differently). But don't feel bad, you wouldn't be the only one.

Heh, funny you should mention G/S/C's Red Gyarados as that is indeed the whopping one shiny I've ever seen. And since everybody sees him, he most certainly... OK, he counts a *little*. :lol:

I don't I've ever been able to find a shiny besides the Gyarados. I just haven't had the patience to play for that long to try to hunt one down.

I haven't seen a shiny in my own game since Gen II. Well, a wild one, at least. There was that Espeon in Trainer Tower in FireRed... damn it.

What sucks is recently two of my friends have been able to get one each.

Believe me, you'll get lucky enough to see one one day.

I saw a shiny Ho-Oh once. All though, by friend DID bring over the Gameshark device....

I released it later, it was just for fun.
But I havent seen any official shinies. I guess that I have not yet proven myself worthy...

To catch them is my dream, *part I didnt exactly hear*...

I once saw either a shiny Stantler or Girafarig in Gold. I thought that it was too weird for me to catch and either ran way or KO'd it. Well, that was stupid.

About a year ago my sister was playing Sapphire and saw a shiny Zubat. I was watching and did what anyone would do: completely freak out and told her she had to catch it no matter what the circumstance. She shrugged me off and knocked it out. D:

Out of the nine main Pokemon games I've played, I've only seen two shinies(including Red Gyarados).

out of Ruby Sapphire firered and diamond ive seen/owned:

Sapphire: Shiny Banette (owned)
Ruby: Shiny Oddish (Ran away in safari zone )
FireRed: Shiny Nidorino (Again, ran away)
Diamond: Shiny Regigigas (owned, but not mine)

I have been searching for Feebas...For what seems like a lifetime. I hate Nintendo. I friggin hate them.

But if when I find a Feebas its shiny, it makes up for a lot.

I have never seen a shiny outside the Red Gyarados in Gold and Silver. It would be nice to get one but I don't actively search for one and I just don't care if I ever see one.
