Starting from Battle Frontier, it was easy to predict whether Team Rocket would get a new motto for the new series or not.

However, nowadays they have returned to their original motto and so far they're using it for the second region in a row (they started during late Unova and so far they are still using it in Kalos). So I find it hard to predict if they will keep their original motto for the new region or not.

What do you think and what do you want?

I'd prefer if TR only appeared in one out of every four to five episodes. They're great for comic relief, but the whole stealing Pikachu gag is really old now.

H8rz plz answer the question or go away: Should Team Rocket be in the next generation anime? provided for your pleasure.

I love the original motto.
But
I also loved DP
and have hated XY motto life by and large...
Honestly
I would pick whichever option gives us new footage each week (the creativer the betterer).

I don't think they need a new motto as long as they use variations frequently. I do really wish they would stop doing the cut scene for the motto and just have them say it wherever they are with some of the creative aspects the original series added in, because seeing the same cut scene every time gets old much quicker than hearing the same motto. I wouldn't mind a new motto, but it isn't totally necessary.
