Solgaleo and Lunala make their Pokémon GO debuts in the Astral Eclipse event starting November 23rd

In the lead-up to the upcoming Ultra Beast Arrival: Global event in Pokémon GO, Niantic has announced details for the Astral Eclipse event, which will begin on November 23th at 10:00am, and run through until November 28th at 8:00pm local time, after the conclusion of Ultra Beast Arrival: Global.

Solgaleo and Lunala, the Sunne and Moone Pokémon from Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will each be making their Pokémon GO debuts during Astral Eclipse. Trainers can acquire these legendary Pokémon by using 100 Cosmog Candy to evolve their Cosmoem at day or night respectively.

As part of this event, new chapters of the Special Research story A Cosmic Companion will be unlocked, featuring Cosmoem, Rhi, and Professor Willow. An Astral Eclipse Collection Challenges will also be available to Trainers, awarding Stardust to Trainers on completion. Additionally, Nebula skies will be appearing during the Astral Eclipse event for the final time this season.
