Signin' the crap outta this petition. FOR YOUTUBE!

Oh boy they just won't quit trying to get this bill passed. Just a bunch of greedy business people just want to keep trying to tweak it so it passes. If it ever does pass just imagine all the Youtube account (some of them really big Youtubers ) who would lose their account and be in jail for having a cover or parody of a song. A lot of people get paid for making Youtube videos and it's basically their job so all of those people would pretty much be losing their jobs. The Internet should run on a freedom of speech basis. Though matter how much they tweak SOPA it will never work out. I hope if it gets repealed again I seriously hope they realize that.

Signing the petition ASAP.

The petition's already reached 104% of its votes, and it looks like it's still climbing.

Ugh. Corporate America trying to shackle the internet. I hate these censorship bills. Signing on that petition.

It isn't just the United States of America that wants to censor the Internet (while condemning other nations for doing it), but other Western nations are doing it as well, all in the name of stopping "child pornography". I remember that the day before the recent Federal Election here in Australia, the Liberals (who is led by Tony Abbott) proposed to censor the Internet. And while the British people were distracted by the birth of Prince George of Cambridge, David Cameron made a proposal to censor the Internet in the UK ("Esoteric Content" Censorship Coming To A Website Near YOU! - The Vigilant Citizen - The Vigilant Citizen).

I am personally opposed to internet censorship, as well as a lot of people around the world. But what are governments trying to hide? Is it something that if leaked will cause outrage? If governments have nothing to hide from the people, they have nothing to fear. Remember if the people fears the government, we have tyranny; while if the government fears the people, we have liberty. I hope that SOPA fails again.

If you remember the day, you do remember what happened right?

So why are you opposed to it?

SOPA is not back, as posted by Jabberwocky. Can this thread be closed?
