Sounding Board 2.0 - Post & Discuss Your RP Ideas!

So I've been contemplating trying to run a RP on here similar to an old idea I tried before on here called The Terra Firma Tourney. I'm curious if anyone would be interested in it if I decided to post it on here. Lemme know what you think about it.

CONCEPT
The idea was to have a tournament on an island containing tons of environments. My newer idea would be a simplified version of this with a bit of an rng twist. All participants would be facing Terrain Master NPCS on their first round, with the NPCS being played by myself and/or co-GMs. Before the opponents are revealed, each player would choose from three terrain categories: land, sea, or sky. Their battles would then take place in a terrain from the chosen category against the appropriate terrain master. The second round would pit any trainers who won their first rounds against each other. However, this time the terrain would be chosen differently. Each character would pick a number from 1 to 3, and then a random number generator would produce a result within that range. If it matches a player's choice then they pick one of the two categories left from their first round. If neither player guessed it, then a GM would pick one of the three categories with no limits. The idea is that trainers would have to try to decide when they need to use their most advantageous terrain to gain an edge.

Hello everyone, Would anybody be interested in either some D&D or Pokemon Tabletop United RP?

I wanna go for something where the Pokemon world is ravaged by a zombie apocalypse, but it focuses more on the survival aspect than mowing down hordes of zeds. Basically, more DayZ than Left 4 Dead.

Hey there, my name is Ricky, I'm new to the forums but I'm not new to roleplaying! I've been an active roleplayer for about ten years, but I've never been able to do a Pokemon roleplay, which is what I'm really interested in at the moment. I'm semi- to high-literate (4 to 12 paragraphs per reply), I usually write around 250 - 1,000 words per reply, averaging out at around 300. I want a partner who can be decently active; I expect a reply at least once a day! English is my native language, but it doesn't have to be yours, as long as you can speak it well enough to be understood.

If you're possibly interested in roleplaying with me, just reply here or shoot me a message!

@Luck Gandor

Welcome to the forums, Ricky! We're happy to have you here.

That's a nice background you've got. High literate RPs are fun, given the amount of detail.

However, I do think it's fair warning that the general culture of this section is largely about rapid-fire, short posts with a reaction-action format. Because of that, you'll find that it's rare that RPs get less than about five replies a day unless its slow, haha.

For a PRP, what you want is entirely fine, but I do think that you should be aware that in Public RPs, you'll largely find that most aren't really willing to churn out a large amount in reaction to a post. Snappy posts filled with wit, charm, and angst is the specialty around these parts.

Still, we hope this doesn't deter you! We're very inclusive, and hope that you'll enjoy your time here. :)

Ooh that's a cool idea! :3 you should look to see if anyone is interested! :) Heck, even I might try it out!

Basically, the idea centers around a group of teens (probably young teens, like 13-15) leaving their small town for pastures new and to start their Pokemon journey. I'm not sure what region or town it would take place in; that would be up to us the roleplayers.
