Background (will be expanded on as I develop the character):
A young adult from Sinnoh, Sil caught her partner Pokémon, an Alolan Sandshrew (whom she named Hailstone), as a child while staying with some relatives in the more northern part of Sinnoh (a small group of the Pokémon had accidentally been introduced to the area). Over the years, she slowly leveled him up to level five, though she never took a serious interest in battles, or the wider Pokémon world, until she became a bit older. Now she and Hailstone have decided to head to Fizzytopia to learn more about Pokémon, as well as train Hailstone further, perhaps teaching him powerful and difficult moves such as Aqua Tail or Triple Axel, for example.

Background:
A dual Galar-Alola citizen, Selene was one of the scientists that worked on the Aether Foundation's Beast Killer Project. She became obsessed with the Pokémon the lab had developed, seeing them as the pinnacle of modern technology and science. When the project was cancelled, she was distraught. Unable to steal the Type: Null without arousing suspicion, she downloaded several digitized research notes and stole her lab notebook instead with the help of her Pokémon, Prism, and gave copies to a friend working at Marco Cosmos in the hopes that she could continue the project there. However, Marco Cosmos's more profit orientated structure turned her away from the company, and she fled to Fizzytopia. Now she journeys the far off region to research Pokémon types so that she can create a Type: Null on her own.

An extremely rare variant of Bulbasaur first discovered in the Fizzytopia region. The light from the jack-o-lantern flickers as if it were candlelight, but no candle lies within the gourd's hollowed out cavity. Some say that the light is actually the soul of a lost child.

It is theorized that Pumpkasaur hibernate all year long underground until fall arrives, which is why they are so rarely seen. It is said that inside the pumpkin is a trapped spirit, and that the carving on the squash is its face.

These small Ice types slam into rocks at high speeds to break them apart. They then lick the shards in order to absorb the metals needed to replenish the steel inside their bodies.

While their steely backs deflect the sharp claws of Sneasel, their soft underbellies offer no such protection. They burrow in snowdrifts to avoid being flipped over and clawed.

The scales of their zigzag pattern lack the specific cells required to change color. Kecleon carefully conceal their stomach whenever they are attempting to remain camouflaged, sometimes wrapping their tail around their body if needed.

Kecleon sometimes change their color depending on their mood. Which colors correspond to which emotion varies between groups of Kecleon; wild Kecleon living in Hoenn's Route 118 have different colors for joy, for example, compared to Kecleon from the Nature Preserve in Unova. Kecleon that live with humans tend to follow human conventions for color-emotion associations, learning these from human media.

In the wild, Red-Striped Basculin are very hostile towards their Blue-Striped cousins. However, Red- and Blue-Striped Basculin raised in captivity without influence from wild specimens do not exhibit such behavior, suggesting that it is learned and not as a result of a fixed action pattern.

Basculin are highly aggressive and will violently mob almost all other aquatic Pokémon in their environment, oftentimes to secure food sources. While these fish Pokémon are nutrient rich, their aggression makes them risky meals for predatory Pokémon.

According to a Kalosian legend, Binacle were born from the severed hands of sailors that were cut off as a punishment for theft and then thrown into the sea. It is believed that some of these Binacle retained their previous owner's kleptomania, hence why Binacle's hidden ability is Pickpocket.

Highly adept at manipulating objects with their hand-like heads, these Pokémon sift through sand near their rock for food. As Binacle near their evolution, they release pheromones to attract other Binacle pairs that are needed to form a Barbaracle.

Bio:
Sil's first Pokémon partner, Hailstone is an Alolan Sandshrew that she caught somewhere along Route 216 when a group of them were accidentally introduced there. Having been hardened by living in rough environments rife with powerful and/or aggressive Pokémon such as Absol, Graveler, and Sneasal he is rather serious; this personality developed as he had to take things rather seriously as a precaution. He tends to be rather subdued around strangers. Preferring to be rather curt in talk with other Pokémon as he tends to not be much for conversation, Hailstone may not utter more than a nod and a few squeaks. However, he can be less serious during certain times, especially when exploring new things, and is willing to be open to new members of the team.

Bio:
Collectively known as Limestone, the two Binacle have rather contrasting personalities.

Lime - The left-hand member of the Binacle pair, Lime is an adventurous and mischievous Pokémon, always eager to go out and explore. He was found by Sil and Hailstone shortly after capsizing a boat; it passed the spot where him and Stone were anchored, and in a spur of the moment move, he dislodged from his rock and attached himself to the boat in the hopes of exploring the world. However, his more... troublesome nature took hold and he ended up puncturing the hull of the boat several times, forcing it and its captain to shore.

Stone - The right-hand member of the Binacle pair, Stone is more cautious and prefers security over anything exciting, which has led to several clashes with Lime and his opposite personality. He was the first member of the Binacle pair that Sil and Hailstone encountered, after Lime had seperated himself from the rock. Despite the loss of his "left hand," he preferred to stay attached to the rock until it was unceremoniously ripped from Fizzby Harbor's seafloor by a fisherman Sil and Hailstone had chanced upon. He lashed out in defense and anger, but was ultimately subdued by a freezing Powder Snow.

Effect: The user launches a Pumpkin seed into the air, upon falling the seed plants itself onto the opponent’s side of the arena, upon the end of the second round of battle a large pumpkin finishes growing. The pumpkin immediately begins flashing, and after the third round the pumpkin explodes, dealing spread damage that hits all opponents and Burns them.

Bio:
Sil encountered Umbra at a mysterious pumpkin patch, drawn to the spooky meadow after watching a news broadcast regarding the rare Pumpkasaur. and its evolutions. She had tried to sneak through the tough bramble shielding the meadow from prying eyes in order to witness the evolution of the autumnal Bulbasaur, sketching what she saw along with several other trainers. Umbra, who had earnestly watched the humans instead of running away from them like most Pumpkasaur, had deemed her scribbles to be the most accurate and decided to join her on her adventures through Fizzytopia.

Umbra is a rather inquisitive Pokemon that is eager to look into anything of interest to him, in contrast to the rather timid and wary attitude of the Pumpkasaur in the Perplexing Patch.

Bio:
A twitchy, scatterbrained lizard that’s always on the move, Prism rarely sits still. Interested by everything that moves, she isn’t hesitant to inspect anything that catches her eye.

Captured by Team Skull at the Dividing Peak Tunnel, Prism was subsequently rescued by the Aether Foundation. Rather than being released back into the wild or adopted, the Color Swap Pokémon was used in the early testing stages of the Beast Killer project, her Color Change ability of specific interest to the scientists. She received injections of specially cultured Kecleon cells engineered to be non-Normal type cells at rest to see how they would change as her typing changed. These injections granted her greater control over her type changing capabilities, resulting in her ability changing from Color Change to Protean. Selene, who had been working on the project at another lab, adopted her once her testing was done, taking pity on her.
