"Noooo, I don't think she is. I don't think this guy is lying. I mean, come on. Think! Sandy couldn't manage all of this on her own, nobody could with a load of Scientist stuff on her back." Ozias drew his sword and began casually spinning it around. "It stands to reason that someone had to regulate even the Project heads. I thought about this for a while during my career. I'd discarded it as idle thought until now." He turned to Helen. "It isn't easy, is it? Being clever. All those ideas of yours. You connect things, random things. No one else can see it but you. The rest of the world is just so slow, isn't it?"
"...why are you doing this? What's the point of changing everyone's lives just for your fantasy? There is no such thing as a Utopia! Violent people will become more violent if they're merged! It'll just raise crime rates! So why?!" Erin asked.
"You're a genius, my friend. You have ideas! You can think up wonderful things! Take this box for example. Neutralizers prevent a breakout. Summonable at will. Brilliant thing! You could even stick it in the street and nobody would care! It's just a thing, nobody pays attention to things, they just go 'ugh, it's a thing'. But you see," Ozias was beginning sound subtly aggressive, "I'm different, I connect things. Random things. This thing seems to be connected to that thing around Helen's neck. You may not even think so, but it is. Very very quietly, connected together. Not by wireless communications, fibre optics, but by possibilities! What could happen!"
"I'm afraid your incoherent babbling has lost me. There isn't any connection between the neutralizers and the command collar, besides the obvious... My, it appears I've overlooked something, hasn't it?"
"No, you see, you're missing something there. Look at you. Omniscient, yes, but bone-dead stupid too. Because," he stopped twirling his sword around his hand and grasped it firmly, "what happens if you lose contact with Helen? You've got neutralizers, sure, but you've missed something. It doesn't change matter. It doesn't make things blunt." Ozias slashed at the collar, much to the surprise of Sophia, who thought he was just ranting again.
"Have I? Think about it. I went to all the trouble of constructing this thing, didn't I?" Helen coughed. "You still need air, don't you?"
"H-how are you still controlling her?" Maxwell wondered aloud, bringing up the broken collar.
Helen sighed. "Must I explain everything to you lot? Nay, I won't. It's better that way." She yanked Ozias' sword away, then snapped it in two.
Ozias suddenly took in a short, sharp breath and fell backwards, his hair shortening and all elements of Keldeo he bore withered away as if they had never been. He shakily tried to stand, but to no avail. "What did you do?!" Emily demanded.
"Unless there was an error in transcription, there shouldn't be a--" A click resonated from the collar, and the Arceus Merge went limp, dropping to the floor.
"Well, there's finally some good news," Sophia shrugged.
Ozias got up, coughing. "I'm feeling a little ill... No matter, though. I'm gonna live. Besides, last time I checked, the only bits of me that were independently Keldeo were the bits on the shoulders, the sword, part of my hair, and my cardiovascular system."
Scorpion stared at the fallen Arceus merge for a few seconds before she ran over to Helen and used Cut on the collar, making sure not to hit Helen, trying to break the collar. Get that other person... talking through her... away!
"Wait, are you not Keldeo at all anymore? I thought breaking the sword would just revert you to the normal form since it stops you from using Secret Sword."
"Those would be our missing friends... I dunno about the Keldeo bit... I guess even the muta... mutagen I used was... was... wasn't... perfected..." Ozias patted his chest, "No cardiovascular system... I've got about 45... seconds left to... l-live. T-that's good... eh?"
