St Baldrick's Foundation is once again challenging the Pokémon streaming community to collectively catch 1 million Pokémon, and in the process help them raise $100,000 to fund childhood cancer research. Any and all streamers, big or small, with any appreciation whatsoever for Pokémon, are invited to participate in the event between April 7th and 14th, and help the foundation reach its fundraising goal.

The 2022 and 2023 Catch a Million events raised $39,170.47 and $26,994.52 respectively, with more than 50 creators, including Bulbagarden's own team of streamers, taking part in each event. The Catch a Million event this year is once again being sponsored by Sport Clips.

Register today! All streamers interested in participating in the event will need to:
  1. Register on CatchAMillion.com to get access to the app and contribute towards the goal.
  2. Go to the official Catch a Million 2024 campaign on the Tiltify fundraising platform, and then create their own linked fundraiser connected to their Twitch and/or YouTube channels.
  3. Join the official Discord server for creators taking part in the event - https://discord.gg/stbaldricks
Creators will be given access to a special app to track every Pokémon they capture while streaming live during the fundraiser, with captures across all generations of Pokémon games, including appropriate side-games, counting toward the million-Pokémon goal. Live updates of captures will be provided on CatchAMillion.com.

More information on how this year's event will be structured, will be released closer to the start of the event. Last year's event included a range of special challenges for creators to compete against each other in, as well as prizes from event sponsors for the biggest individual and community fundraisers.
