"Yes, at the time we doubted the intentions of your people, and consequently Artexa ordered the Olustar to dock elsewhere," Arkalex replied, a tense tone now detectable in his voice. "Frankly, I am still somewhat concerned as to the dedication of Florasia to this alliance - your diplomatic skills appear to be, regrettably, lacking. There would be no issue with your ambassador had he returned to Florasia aboard your ship rather than boarding the Olustar without clearance."

"He claims the people onboard never told him he wasn't cleared to enter it." said Florose. "Florasia is very dedicated to our allience, Prime Minister, we trust the Aridae and wish nothing but peace and the furthering of our allience." she said. "There have been misunderstandings, I admit, but I see no reason for these hostilities, they were just misunderstandings, you have my word."

Arkalex heaved a deep sigh, Artexa looking on with interest, noting the Prime Minister appeared to be considering something, as if a thought had only just ocurred to him. "I understand, but I wish to speak with you in person at your earliest convenience, Florose, if you don't mind. Would you be able to make the trip to Aridae at some point in the near future?"

Florose considered it. "Alright, but I must bring my royal guard with me, its required by Florasian law for the queen to be accompanied by them at all times when outside the palace. And I do have a daughter that I can't leave unattended."

"As you wish, I look forward to your arrival," Arkalex replied curtly.

Florose bowed as well. "I only have one requests, a room with plenty of sunlight and water and that's big enough for me and Flora to stay in together. Those first two are very important to Florasians, we are plants afterall.

"Of course," Arkalex replied curtly.

"All the necessary arrangements will be made," Artexa reassured, turning as she flitted out of the room once more.

Viator I
Scout-class spacecraft

The feeling of traveling faster than light was tremendous. Frightening and amazing at the same time. As soon as the Viator I stopped, the crew began celebrating.

"I can't believe we did it!" someone shouted.

Only the Heloduran soldiers remained stoic. They had long since been desensitized. After everyone else calmed down, they began to prepare to activate the SLD engine again. This was only their first stop on the way to their destination. Their destination was a system that scientists thought might have a moon that sustained life. The Viator disappeared through space again.

After a long series of stopping and going, the Viator reached the system. A young sun and only five planets; this was definitely the place. The crew piloted the ship towards the moon. Like the scientists had thought, it seemed to have life. However, the crew soon discovered something shocking. All were left speechless.

The captain was the first to speak up: "It has... satellites". They weren't prepared for this. They had thought there might life, but sentient life was out of the question.

"What do we do?" asked the pilot.

"We could send them a message", suggested the copilot.

"But, they won't understand our language", the communications specialist interjected.

"We could send them pictures", said the computer technician. "The computer has Paint". Captain Obstin contemplated the ideas.

"We might as well try", he said. He turned to the technician. "Get to work on some pictures." To the communications specialist he said: "See if you can tap into their satillites. We need a way to send the message." Unfortunately, the captain was unaware of the fact that the computer technician was terrible with Paint. The technician didn't want to let him down so he tried to make pictures anyway.

Twenty minutes later, two poorly drawn pictures were sent to a random satillite. Hopefully the planet would be able to understand them.

OOC: See the pictures below. And in case you didn't catch it, they are near Arcadia.

Xenobiology Research Facility

"Our second contact with aliens!" Chakram says, hammering out a reply as Stiletto looks at it upside down. "Looks like they're...Gonna throw rocks at us?" She says. Meanwhile, Chakram types:

Dear Alien Peoples,
Please do not throw rocks at us. Thank you!

It was only after the pictures were sent that the captain saw them.

"Please tell me you did not send that to the satillite".

"Umm, I didn't not send that to the satillite", replied the technician nervously.

"How are the moon's people supposed to understand this?!" As the captain shouted, a message popped up on the screen. It was completely illegible to the Steilians.

"What is this supposed to say?" asked the navigator.

"Try to learn some of the language from the satillites", the captain told the communications specialist.

About an hour later, the crew believed they had deciphered the letter.

Dear foreign persons,
Do not throw yourselves at our rocks, please. Thank you!

The last part was left untranslated because it appeared to be a name.

"What do they mean by this?" asked the copilot.

"We probably were a little off on the translation", said the technician, "It is probably closer to 'Please be careful not to hit our mountains on the way down".

"I'm sorry I yelled at you. It seems your drawings worked", Captain Obstin apologized to the technician. "Everyone prepare for landing!" Soon the Viator was descending down towards the moon's surface.
