Bulbapedia Suggestions, ideas, and problems

Re: Official BULBAPEDIA suggestion/idea/problem thread

How is [bp]Shigeki Morimoto[/bp] going to work now that he appears as a battleable NPC. I've tried to work on his page, but will we be using an NPC infobox? It makes it very confusing now that Game Freak are putting themselves in the game.

Here's the even more fun thing. What if they rename him in English?

Re: Official BULBAPEDIA suggestion/idea/problem thread

Reggie Fils-Aime wants to... No, it's too awful to contemplate.

We could always give game-Morimoto a separate page. That might be the best solution.

Re: Official BULBAPEDIA suggestion/idea/problem thread

Iris hasn't decided to travel with Ash yet!

Re: Official BULBAPEDIA suggestion/idea/problem thread

Shouldn't we add -appu's locations?

Re: Official BULBAPEDIA suggestion/idea/problem thread

Murando sounds like "way/earth of the village", pointing to its beard, denoting elderly status.

Re: Official BULBAPEDIA suggestion/idea/problem thread

Please do add Metal Buster (Sounds familiar? Genesect.), Gear Change and Body Purge to Steel (type). And Maybe we should relieve Soramimi of her Admin status. Quite inactive. Also, I recommend Zesty and Werdnae be moved up in rank. Thank you. *huff*

I was bored, so I did this:
Code:

(Japanese: '''いかりのこな''' ''Anger Powder'') is a non-damaging {{type2|Bug}} [[move]] introduced in [[Generation V]].
==Effect==
Anger Powder forces opposing Pokémon to target the user rather than the user's partner during double battles. This is an increased priority move, and therefore will always go before attacks during the turn.

If the user's partner is switching out, Anger Powder will not divert an opponent from using Pursuit on its partner. Anger Powder does not stop the effects of moves which hit multiple Pokémon in a battle.

I'm not sure if it is any good, I basically mixed the pages for Follow Me and Claw Sharpen and changed the info. Might have a few formatting mistakes in it.

Normal routine still goes on! Unrelated to the Black and White release, the next eight chapters of the Diamond and Pearl chapter of Pokémon Adventures have been released. I haven't seen anything new for the Platinum or HeartGold & SoulSilver chapters.

Append this to the end of the table (removing the overlap, to indicate the format) here, please:

There's an unclosed <!-- in there that doesn't seem to be serving any purpose. Also, it's Urugamoth, not Ugugamoh, and you call it Follow Me in the effect section.

Other than that, I previewed it, and it looks ok. I'm just a bit confused as to the name, as the effect section says Powder Rage, and the infobox says Anger Powder.

Typos and a slight lack of attention. =/

Well, I think I'll do one or two more. This is fun.

And here they are. All done for Bug-type moves. Which type should I Tackle next?

Re: Official BULBAPEDIA suggestion/idea/problem thread

Anger Powder is Bulbapedia's translation, whereas Power Rage is Serebii's translation. Where there are conflicts, for internal consistency purposes, I would suggest using these names for all updates until official English move names are released.

"Anger Powder" is the correct translation, btw - "anger" is describing the powder, not vice versa.

Re: Official BULBAPEDIA suggestion/idea/problem thread

So what, it inflicts a new status condition called "anger"?

Re: Official BULBAPEDIA suggestion/idea/problem thread

No, if I understand correctly, it's a Bug-type Follow Me.

What Umeko means is that the powder itself is angry.

Wat zee fawk?
That will be a strange move.

Re: Official BULBAPEDIA suggestion/idea/problem thread

Hahaha, no it's not the powder itself that's angry (it's "Anger Powder" not "Angry Powder"). I think the move name is more implying that the user is angry, enabling it to release the powder.

Or something like that. But that doesn't really matter - I was just saying that "Powder Rage" or whatnot is conclusively wrong. :p
