Trainer class artwork from TOKIYA and Kouki Saito–As much as we all love Sugimori's art, I love how these trainer classes have such dynamic designs.

I'm guessing these were done for the TCG? Either way the poses are more dynamic and interesting than the official game artwork

I don't think Sugimori has drawn trainer art since RSE, but I get your point. These are great.

But X and Y (and I think ORAS) had trainer art outright in the game when you battled a trainer, and I think it's Sugimori's style.

I lowkey want to take the Male Sightseer home. He's adorkable. And I love how the Female Sightseer takes defeat selfies.

Just because it "looks" like Sugimori's style, does not mean it is. I'm very familiar with Sugimori's style in art, and XY's and ORAS's trainer art definitely do not match.

I pretty much guessed that based off the official artwork for more notable characters; who does the human character art (at least since Gen 3 or 4)?

They all look great in this game I like the Veterans and the Ace Trainers.

I remember there being a female swimmer with a different design.
