Real Name(Required): Miranda Alie
Superhero Code Name: Glow

Which Hand/Foot?(Optional): Right handed.
Appearance: Miranda, aka ‘Glow’ is a fairly skinny young woman, though not flat, more on the curvy side. XD She’s of south Asian ethnicity. She has straight long brown hair down to her back which she keeps open most of the time. Her eyes are hazel, and skin tannish. She has a scar on the right side of her facethat she got when trying to ride a bike. Her normal expression is usually the ‘bored out of her mind’ face.
Personality: Miranda usually doesn’t really care about people’s opinions and is generally straight up with people. She’d be that person who studies an hour before an exam thinking she can actually pass. She’s a bit on the foolish side, though that can be attributed to her laziness. XD She admires people who help others, and is generally friendly. When she enters a room, she can usually captivate people very easily. She has the ‘I don’t give a shit’ attitude, but inside she really cares about people who are close to her. She has a love for Drake and chocolate. She’s also very OCD about random things. The smallest thing can set her off, like men not leaving the toilet seat up, or a curtain.
History: Miranda was raised into an overachieving family. Her older sister was a doctor and her younger brother was always talking about becoming president and politics. But being around them made her appreciate the world more, and not money or status, which she could two shits about. As she grew up.. she loved to tinker with things. In highschool, she joined the robotics team and got a love for engineering ever since because the possibilities were limitless. When she graduated, she went to university to study electrical engineering, where she got a co-op position at Star Labs (haha, if you’ve read ‘the Flash’ you’d laugh at this reference. XD). However, during the molecular accelerator explosion, she got hit by a wave of energy while working with a new type of solar battery. When she finally woke up, she figured out that she could now manipulate electricity (she fried all of her hospital equipment by accident). After a bit of practise, she decided to go after small criminals in the city, using her codename, “Glow.” Her family has no idea she’s fighting crime.
Costume/Attire: Glow wears a tight white full sleeve shirt with black pants underneath and white boots with yellow soles. She doesn’t like to wear gloves because they restrict her sucking powers. She also wears a yellow utility belt on her hip. Her clothes are mostly made out of polyester to get a better static charge from things. Her eyes are covered with a white mask and she keeps her hair open.
Superpowers: Miranda has the power to control and manipulate the electricity around her. While she can rarely access the electricity in organic things (like humans or animals), she can pull it from inanimate objects and manipulate it to her will to shock her enemies using blasts. Her body is able to absorb a lot of electricity, making it very difficult for her to be shocked to death. By absorbing electricity, Miranda also increases her stamina and healing (and by healing, I mean it’s just a little bit faster than the average humans, she’s still not able to take physical attacks very easily).
Weaknesses: Glow can’t access her powers in places where there is no power source (i.e. no cables, computers, electronics). Thus when she’s in a cave for example, she’ll run into trouble and be nearly useless. In addition, initially pulling electricity from objects uses a lot of energy, so if she’s very sick or weak, she won’t be able to absorb much unless she’s close to the power source.
Equipment: Glow fashions a utility belt on her suit, which holds two small batteries on either side. The utility belt has small solar panels attached to it to help recharge the battery cells. However, this power source runs out very fast, so its use is limited. She also wears a watch that doubles as a GPS to help her when she’s lost.
Martial Arts Discipline(s): Judo, she’s on 6th dan, which is the red/white belt. (Judo has 11 dans, but no one has reached the 11th one yet!)
