Yay another blog

Uhh, y'all get the gist, I will make updates involving a custom roster, with moves and stuff. I will start being more technical as I learn about frames more and more, but other than that, yeah.

If y'all want to suggest me characters to do or critisize a moveset, thats fine. I will sometimes decline a request either because I have never seen any reference of them or don't know enough. SOmetime I will try, but it won't be faithful

First Character Coming Soon

Character 1: Decidueye

I have had Decidueye in my mind for a long time, and I want to try a faithful adaptation of him.

A Moves:

Jab - Leafage

Leafage is his jab, which starts with two swipes from Decidueyes wings, into a flurry of leaves. This can be best represented by Robins jab, her Flurry Attack. Each of the first 2 strikes does 4 damage, 7 in total. The leaves will have a maximum of 19 complete hits before it finished, in which they do 2 each hit. The final hit sends the leaves out, which knocks the opponent back. This final hit only does 5 damage as the leaves would be crippled. In total, this move would do 50 damage if done successfully. The downfall to this is that Decidueye can't cancel this move unless hit or he uses his final attack. Not to mention the move doesn't have much knockback.

Dash Attack: Winged Dash

Decidueye will attack like Wonderwing, but significantly weaker and no invisibility frame. He will do 12 damage when it is hit.

F-Tilt - False Swipe

False Swipe has an interesting property to it. This move will not kill, though it will give insane knockback sometimes, this move will never kill your opponent off the blast zone unless they don't recover or they air dodge out. This property also works with Stamina, in which it will leave you with 1 health. This move does 14 damage and has a low end-lag to it.

D-Tilt - Feather Dance

Feather Dance is a multi-hitting Down Tilt, which will give you a short attack boost for 5 seconds. This move has 4 hits in total, doing 3-5-6-12 damage respectively. This move also can reach off the ledge if used off the ledge, so it's a good edge guarding move as well.

U-Tilt - Astonish

Astonish is a quick uptilt that has a hitbox on all frames. Due to this, it can be easily exploited to start up combos. The move also has low end lag. Since it gives your opponent a small hit stun box, it can be spammed for damage. The move-in total does 9 damage.

Smash Attacks:

F-Smash: Leaf Blade

Leaf Blade is a fast slash of leaves. 0% Charges gives 9 damage, 50% charged gives 17 damage, and 100% charged gives off 39 damage.

Down Smash: Grass Knot

Grass Knot is his down smash. This move has his hitbox in the front, and it is a short wing smash. 0% charged gives 5 damage, 50% charged does 13 damage, 100% damage is 22.

Up Smash: Talon Kick

Talon Kick is one of the few moves not referencing in-game moves. Talon Kick is a charged handstand with a sour spot hitbox coming up and a sweet spot hitbox on the top. The Sour Spot does 7 damage, and barely any knockback. For the sweet spot it is: 12 0%, 19 50%, 31 100%.

Aerials:

N-Air: Swords Dance

Swords Dance is a quick spin mid-air, where arrows disguised like swords circle around him. This move does 15 damage each slice.

B-Air: Pluck

Pluck is a quick move where Decidueye turns his head around and plucks the opponent. If connected, he will recovery 1 HP, and the move does 8 damage. With buffs, he will always recovery 1/8 of the damage given.

D-Air: Phantom Force

Phantom Force works differently, as it will make you disappear for a bit before you go down with a stomp. This move has 3 different hit boxs, the shadow has one thats 2 damage, the sweet spot spike does 16, and the sour spot does 9.

F-Air: Wing Slap

Wing Slap is as it says, a wing slap. This move can be best described as Dr. Marios F-Air, which there is no spike box. It will send your opponent away from you. The damage is worth 5.

U-Air: Leaf Storm.

Leaf Storm is a cyclone of leaves aiming up starting from Decidueye's head. This move has a cyclone box, which drags opponents in. This move has 9 hits in total, each doing 3 damage.

Specials:

N-Special: Spirit Shackle

Spirit Shackle has an odd property. This move will always do knockback before paralysis, referencing the games. The longer it is charged, the more knockback and hitstun you have. Charging for 1-2 seconds is 4 damage, 3-5 is 9 damage, and 6-10 is 14 damage.

Side-Special: Leaf Blade

Leaf Blade again, except it can be used in the air. This move will do 13 damage when hit, but in air it will make you lose a jump.

Down-Special: Sucker Punch

Sucker Punch will always flinch your opponent when used and always does 20 damage.

U-Special: Brave Bird

Brave Bird will always give recoil damage when hit successfully and can be angled in all 4 directions, and diagonally if inputted right, This move can be blocked by shields, and the damage is nullified if hit by a move of any kind. It will do 23 damage if hit.

Grabs:

To grab he just sends a wing out. Pummel is a wing strike. F-Throw is shooting them out of a bow, the back throw is lifting them up and throwing them back with your talons. Up Throw is shooting them up and Down Throw is throwing them down. They each do 12 damage, with pummel doing 1

Final Smash:

Sinister Arrow Raid

An activation box, if hit, Decidueye will come in with arrows circling around him and collide. This move will do 60 damage.

Character 2: Steve

Steve is another character I have had on my mind for a while, and thus another moveset

Gimmick: All his tools can break which leaves their damage output horrible for about 5-10 seconds. The damage output is 1/4 when a tool is broken

Attacks:

Steve has 2 jumps

Jab: 1-2-3 slice

Steves 1 2 3 slice is a simple 3 swipe attack from a diamond sword. The attacks do 8 damage each.

Dash Attack: Minecart

Steve will run at you in a minecart, doing 23 damage. This move is super slow though unless used on a slope
Tilts:

F-Tilt: Mining

Steves F-Tilt is a simple up-down strike with a Pickaxe, which has 2 different powered hitboxes, and a tipper box on the first hit. The first hit is bringing the pickaxe down where if the tipper is gotten, it will freeze your opponent to confirm the second hit. The first hit is 3 damage and the second hit is 14 damage.

D-Tilt: Digging

Steves D-Tilt is like like Villagers/Game And Watches Down Smash, trapping your opponent in the ground. This has one actual hitbox like Game and Watch and comes out quick like Villagers. It only goes one way though, so if you use this, be sure you are facing them. This does 7 damage.

U-Tilt: Chest

Steves U-Tilt has him bring out a chest, open it up, and then clamp. The hitboxes appear on bringing the chest up, opening it, and then closing it. This does 2-5-12 damage.

Smash Attacks:

F-Smash: Ax Smash

Steve brings out his ax and smashes it forward. This move has some bad end lag, so if you want to use this, be wary of being punished. 0% charged will do 9 damage, 50% will do 17, and 100% charged will do 33 damage. This move will also be able to chop down certain walls or items.

Down Smash: Anvil Drop

Steve will drop an anvil from the sky. This move comes out fast due to anvils being fast falling, but you will have some ending lag to balance this move-out. It is treated as a projectile, however, it will break most reflectors, and can be used for easy shield punish. 0% is 12, 50% is 24, and 100% 43

Up Smash: Trident Tropple

Steve will throw a Trident up in the air, and it will come down. This move is strange as you can angle it, and it can also do damage to you. It can also be acted as an item unless you have items off ruleset. 0% 7, 50% 13, 100% 32

Aerials

N-Air: Beacon Spin

Steve will stand on a beacon and spin for a bit. This move has a cyclone hitbox, and does 3 damage per hit, with 7 hits in total.

F-Air: Diamond Slice

Steve will use his diamond sword and do a quick slice. This move is a good edge guarding tool, as well as a combo starter. This move comes out on frame 1, and does 9 damage.

D-Air: Hoe Down

Steve will use his Wooden Hoe and slice straight down. This move will spike if it hits, but a catch on a small hitbox. This move does 2 damage.

B-Air: Piston

Steve will use a piston to push his opponent back and propel himself a bit forward. This move does 8 damage at the start, and when the piston goes out, it does 13 damage.

U-Air: Flint and Steel

Steve will use his Flint and Steel to light his opponent up, sending them up in the process. The damage is 15 and the burn damage does 2 each.

Specials:

N-Special: Bow and Arrow

Steve will bring out his bow and arrow, and shoot an arrow out, similar to Links. There is a rare chance of the arrow being a punch arrow which does more knockback in damage. They do 7 and 13 damage respectively

S-Special: Splash Potion

Steve will throw one of 5 splash potions, which can be aimed. On impact, they do 2 damage before an effect. They all have an equal percent of appearing. The first one is splash potion of healing, which heals whoever is hit by it 12 percent. Splash Potion of Poison is next, which will gradually decrease the recipient's HP by 6 every 20 frames for a total of 5 seconds. The next is a splash potion of harming, which asks like the wasps as the recipient will gradually take hit stun, for 2 damage each stun. Then the next 2 are your simple acceleration and jumping potions.

D-Special: 3 Blocks Of Hell

3 Blocks Of Hell is another RNG element, with the spawn rates being for the blocks.

50% Dirt (5 damage)
25% Wood (10)
12.5% Stone (18)
6.5% Obsidian (30)
5.9 % Beacon (13)
.1% Bedrock (100)

This move can be a great edgeguarding tactic and will render your opponent from approaching unless going aerial.

Up Specia: Ender Pearl Toss:

Steve angles and ender pearl and throws it, while he is slowly falling. If this hits a target with a hurt box, he can move out of the teleportation and attack, but anything else he is in free fall. 2 damage if it connects

Final Smash: Ender Dragons Rage

An activation hitbox where the Ender Dragon flies and hits the opponent. It cuts to a scene where Steve is riding the Dragon and shooting fireballs before slamming into the opponent. This does 55 damage.

Grabs:

Steve grabs his opponent with a fishing rod. Pummel is being hit with a fist. F Throw is being hit with a stick with knockback attached, doing 10 damage. Back Throw is sticking the opponent in a minecart and pushing it, doing 7 damage. Down Throw is a piston shooting him down and vice versa for an up throw with 7 damage. The fishing rod can tether

Taunts:

Up Taunt: Steve has a Totem Of Undying go over him
Side Taunt: Steve Sleeps
Down Taunt: Steve pets an ocelot.

Victory Screens: Steve spawns random mods and uses them.

Alts:

1: Steve (Main)
2: Alex (Female Steve)
3: Notch (A Notch skin)
4: Creeper (Dresses like a creeper)
5: Ender (Dresses up like an enderman)
6: Villager (Dresses like a villager)
7: Tuxedo Steve (Steve in a tuxedo)
8: Sheep (Dresses like a sheep)

Stage:

Woodland Mansion: A large stage that you start on the roof. You can go through the stage if you hit it enough, allowing a larger fighting area. Mobs like Creepers, Skeletons, Zombies, and Vindicators will spawn in here for some mischief.

Anyways, there is Steve. I felt I could nerf him and Decidueye a bit, but thats it. I am planning on doing either

A) Monokuma
B) Thanos
C) Sans
D) Zoroark

so yeah

Character 3: Monokuma

The despair bear himself. How would his bloodthirsty attitude translate to smash bros, let's find out?

Gimmick: No real gimmick, other than he is strong.

Entrance: Monokuma will enter the stage by popping out of nowhere.

Jab: 1-2

Monokuma gives out 2 slices in rapid succession, doing 5 and 12 damage respectively

Tilts:

Side Tilt: Dangan SALMON!

Monokuma takes a salmon and slaps it across the opponent. This move does 20 damage and has a chance to flinch, but you have a decent amount of start and end lag.

Up-Tilt: Love Key

Monokuma would hold the love key in the air, creating a quick blast of hearts. This moves coming up hitbox does 3 damage and the hearts do 15.

Down-Tilt: Twice The Slice

Monokuma would slice down twice, referencing Bowsers Down-Tilt but quicker and less laggy. The moves both do 5 damage, so 10 in total, but it can be looped if done right.

Smash Attacks:

F-Smash: Execution Hammer

Monokuma would pull out the hammer that he uses for executions, and slams it in front of him, which it grows to a strange size. 0% 7, 50% 14, 100% 32.

Down Smash: Agony Thread Drop

Monokuma would drop a sharp thorny rope onto the opponent. This move is crazy good as it is disjointed, and can fall off stage. This move will do 5 damage if touched after the move is done. 0% 2, 50% 7, 100% 23

Up Smash: Kuma Headbutt.

Monokuma headbutts the opponent by jumping up. 0% 5, 50% 14, 100% 32

Aerials:

N-Air: Twirling Monokuma

Monokuma Twirls around in midair and slices all over. This move will do 12 damage.

F-Air: Slice Spike

Monokuma will slice out then downwards, which spikes on the sweet spot, which is 13 damage, while the sour spot is 4 damage.

D-Air: Gamers Last Tetris

For such a long name, this move is simple. It is a simple drop of a 1X4 Tetris block, which goes straight down. This move spikes at the sweet spot. Sour Spot is 12 while the sweet spot is 21.

B-Air: Bear Kick

Monokuma kicks back with his hind legs. This move does 16 damage.

U-Air: Rocket Ship

Monokuma pulls out a rocket ship and sends it up quickly, but it doesn't drop. On impact, it explodes. Impact does 3 damage and the explosion is 14.

Specials:

N-Special: Bug Bullets

Monokuma wields a gun and shoots out bugs, which do 4 damage each hit. There are 30 bullets per stock.

D-Special: Cuboom.

Monokuma will become a ticking timebomb, and after 5 seconds, he explodes, and a brand new one with the same damage appears out of thin air. This mov does 1 damage if the cub falls on them and the explosion is 17.

S-Special: Firetruck Fiasco

Monokuma uses a firetruck and drives across for about 1 and a half-second. This move does 25 damage, but Monokuma goes into free fall afterwords, and it has a ton of end and start lag.

U-Special: Arm Rocket

Monokuma flies up with an arm rocket. There is no hitbox.

Final Smash: The 1'000 blows

Monokuma will shoot out a chain. If it grabs an opponent, a cutscene happens, where they get strapped to a pole, then get hit with 1'000 baseballs. This move does a whopping 75 damage. And as a bonus, on the bottom on the screen during the cutscene, it says "X Has been found guilty. Time for the Execution"

Taunts:

Up Taunt: Monokuma yawns
Down Taunt: Monokuma gives off a signature. Puh Huh Huh
Side Taunt: Monokuma hits the execution buzzer.

Costumes:

1: Basic Monokuma.
2: A costume that references Monomi
3: A costume for Monotaro
4: A costume for Monophanie
5: A costume for Monodam
6: A costume for Monokid
