SV Leaks and/or Rumours Thread

So GF programmed physical moves movements but then didn't use them for traditional battles. Wake me up when this nightmare ends.

"Geeta is the chairwoman of the Pokémon League, which operates Paldea’s Pokémon Gyms. Among the region’s Champions, she reigns supreme as the most skilled Trainer of all." So, if I get it right, she's a champion?
was she shown in a previous trailer? I thought we've already seen the champion.

Oh and we got our look at the engine pokemon.

So if I’m right in thinking

Gyms: Ice, Grass, Psychic, Ghost, Bug, Normal, Water, Electric
E4: Steel, Ground, Dragon, Fighting
Team Star: Fire, Rock, Flying, Fairy, Poison

And we’re uncertain on Dark? Could very easily be another major character (doubt it’s Geeta IMO, but could be wrong), I’m guessing it’ll be the leader over Team Star or there’s another set of flags we can’t see on the map (underground or behind something).

Flying and Fighting should be swapped, while I believe that Geeta is indeed both our Champion and a Dark-type specialist.

Penny I'm guessing is most likely the leader of Team Star.

Huh... interesting apparently a leaker was asked which character Penny most resembles and the said
Edelgard

I don't know. The flags on the map for Team Star are: Violet (Poison); Red (Fire); Dark Pink (Fairy) and then Yellow (Rock?) and Black (which is either Dark or Fighting). Maybe Fighting is the last one, considering Dark fits better the possible Champion.
Flying is used by an E4.

Yeah, I don’t really get that logic either. Maybe those types of battles and animations were last-minute additions after seeing how well that was received in PLA?

I think I'll have to see it's official artwork and get a better idea of how it'll actually move/animate but just based on this I could have my first team member here. It looks cool. (According to the leaks this Pokemon is meant to move around on wheels too but I'm not really seeing that in this image....)

Also, I've slightly turned around on Team Star since my last post. I'm still bored of the silly goofball type teams but at the same time I appreciate that this teams grunts can look different from each other since they have such a simple design (pretty much just being regular students wearing sunglasses/helmets)

I'm going to guess that they might have very generic attacking animations while auto battling, so obviously that animation couldn't apply to every attack in the game.

There's litterally no sense, considering all pokemon in the pokedex will use physical movements during those battles. Since they had to make attacking animations with physical movements for all pokémon, I truly don't understand why they didn't implement them in the battles. Sometimes GF really puts a limit to the immersion of its games. Why on earth should I accept by logic that sometimes a pokemon will go after its opponent and other times a magical foot will appear on the opponent to replace the movement.

Now this is just unfair

How the fuck could they EVER expect me to pick Fuecoco when Ceruledge is literally RIGHT THERE?!

Fuecoco's final evo better be god tier or else it'll have some pretty damn tough competition trying not to be overshadowed

I know not everyone likes using type overlaps in their team but with the new terastallize mechanic that could be less of an issue in these games. Even if your team members have type overlap they can each bring different tera types to the team.
