SV Leaks and/or Rumours Thread

And now Khu's made another post, this time asking people what Lacy's ace will be. He listed the recently revealed Polchageist alongside Chimecho, Excadrill, Krookodile, and Golurk. And something's fishy about these choices. Specifically, that three of them are Unovan Ground-types.

Well, Riley, as much as it hurts me to say this, he definitely works at GameFreak. He’s dropping all these hints and he has dropped way too many, I’m calling it.

They're hinting that Lacy is actually the daughter of Driftveil Gym Leader Clay. Although I'm not sure that she's a Ground-type specialist like him as the trailer showcased her on a pink background, meaning that she's instead gonna be a Fairy-type specialist.

I don’t think that’s the case (her being a Fairy-type) since Chimecho (Psychic type) and Polchageist (Grass/Ghost-type) are also on the team, and no Fairy on her team. My guess is the pink background means her hair color (I had to do a Google search to find out who she is as I had no idea who she was until I realized she was the pink haired Paldean girl I saw before).

The others match their predicted specialty types. Crispin is on a red background (and is predicted to be a Fire specialist), Drayton is on a dark blue background (and is predicted to be a Dragon specialist), and Amarys is on a grey background (and is predicted to be a Steel specialist). Notably Psychic is also associated with the color pink so Lacy could instead be a Psychic specialist instead.

Yeah but then why would she have three (Gen 5) Ground and one Ghost on her team if she was Psychic specialist?
 
If Lacey is a Fairy specialist (and the other specialty predictions are correct), then two of the BB E4's types would correspond to Titan Pokémon and two would correspond to Team Star bases, while the BB League as a whole would be kind of like an extension of Victory Road. Doesn't really mean anything, but it would be a neat nod to the three storylines from the main game if true.
 
While people debate Lacey's ace, just remember, this is Khu....Nothing with him is ever straightforward. Remember all the convoluted riddles leading up to the Sinistea convergent species Poltchageist? None of those Pokemon in those riddles were the one to get the convergent species. Not Koffing, Driftloon, Swalot, or Spiritomb. Chances are, none of them are the one.

I think that was for the Umbreon, Weavile, Lycanroc, and Mightyena thing. We know Mightyena isn't getting anything thanks to Pyoro_X. Either way though, yeah, Khu can be and its another reason why I wish we could just get more leakers like Kaka again. Just straightforward leaks. Pyoro_X tends to go either way with their leaks, but it can be easier sometimes to understand Pyoro_X.

I don't really understand why Ursaluna needed a new form, but it is definitely quite cool. Centro thinks it is a Ground/Steel so I wonder if it is supposed to be based on the concept of an evil cyborg.

B-Ursaluna got a "WHAT DID THEY DO TO MY BOY" reaction from me at first, but it has grown on me a bit, any attention the best mon from Hisui can obtain is welcomed. It does feel a little edgy though.

Sinistcha would be a 7/10 if it was Poltcheageist's preevolution, as an evolution it's a 3/10, it lacks a lot of Polt's charm and looks more simple.

Nice to see Ogerpon has an actual face and that it will be usable in battle, that was what I feel was missing for me to completely connect with the design. The masks have very cool designs, though it's wild they aren't based on Okidogi & co.
