SwSh Sword & Shield: Expansion Pass

I'm curious about the new Regis and Bird Trio. Are they gonna be Galarian Forms, Gigantamax or a whole new thing. (Altho if it's Gmax there should be the cloudy thing above their heads)
Serebii claims Galarian birds, but I’ve seen that nowhere else, or the direct. I somehow feel doubtful if legendary Pokemon would have regional variants.

So we're getting a fire type and an electric type Regi pokemon. The fire type has a dragon head for an arm,so that's cool. If they're not going to give us any more new eeveelutions, then maybe the new Regi pokemon can replace them.

Everyone is celebrating how this is step in the right direction, how it’s great that we’re going away from third version, how GameFreak isn’t being cash-grabby....

...but after quick read through of what will be added, I feel like some or all of this stuff should have been in the base games already instead of in a $30 expansion pack. I mean, remember HGSS?

I mean there was a time when we thought legendaries that could evolve was a ridiculous idea.

I see no reason why we couldn't have regional legendaries.

I don’t disagree but this is still a step in the right direction. One could argue that the entirety of Platinum, Emerald, etc. should have been in the base games. At least this time around we’re only paying about half of what we would for entirely new game installments. Plus we don’t know if this is the only expansion pack nor do we know the full extent of what is in this one.

I’m gonna doubt that remakes will be replaced by expansion passes. An entire region and plot line would and should have enough content to take up a whole $60 game.
Same here, they are likely putting the Gen 4 legendaries so they can be traded back to SW/SH as an option.

I was going to post the same. $30 is too expensive.

Remakes might still exist, but only if they're Let's GO games.
However, we might not even get Sinnoh remakes. That's still a possibility. I think that there will be no more non-Let's GO remakes.
There’s nothing that suggests this will be the case.
