Sword & Shield - Silver Tempest TCG expansion officially announced

The next Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion in the Sword & Shield series, Silver Tempest, has been officially announced by The Pokémon Company International. This expansion features several brand-new Radiant Pokémon, including Radiant Jirachi and Radiant Alakazam, as well as the first Pokémon VSTAR to not be fully evolved: Alolan Vulpix VSTAR. Silver Tempest will be released worldwide on November 11th.

An ominous rumble echoes in the distance, and Lugia VSTAR emerges from the ocean's dark depths to answer its call! Explore uncharted territory with adventurous expedition companions including Alolan Vulpix VSTAR, Serperior VSTAR, Unown VSTAR, and Mawile VSTAR. Meanwhile, a legendary battle awaits as Regieleki VMAX and Regidrago VSTAR awaken from slumber. As usual, Silver Tempest will be available across a variety of formats, including the typical booster packs and Special Collections, as well as the Elite Trainer Box featuring Alolan Vulpix. Special versions of the Elite Trainer Box will also be available through Pokémon Center in the US, Canada, and the UK, which includes two additional booster packs, a second set of card sleeves and a unique metallic coin.

In total, the Silver Tempest expansion includes:

• Over 190 cards
• 3 Radiant Pokémon
• 15 Pokémon V and 18 full-art Pokémon V
• 1 Pokémon VMAX
• 6 Pokémon VSTAR
• 30 cards with special art in the Trainer Gallery subset
