I'm very confused by it though, my luck concerning getting random things has always been terrible, I can only assume I will not get another 5* unit I want for the rest of this game's life in return.

I got Drake, Clay, and a bunch of duplicates. It seems like I've been having bad luck. Drake kind of makes me want to see Peeko and Briney in the game.

I'd like at least one more 5-star before I start stockpiling all of my gems since I heard some of the later chapters get really rough.

I initially waited to save up for a ten-at-once summon, but then found out that unlike Dragalia Lost, that doesn't even guarantee anything special. So after that I've been summoning any time I get the 300 gems for it. I've gotten Bugsy and Liza 3 times each now, so I'm pretty "meh" about my luck.

Looking in this thread makes me sad, I've had no five stars yet, besides Rosa who is given to you in the game.

Soon enough I'll get one, at the very least I've managed to get a couple of 4-stars.

After days of Wakes, Tates, and Wulfrics, I finally got another 5-star: Phoebe.

Probably still going to keep pulling anyway because I still haven't gotten any of my favorite characters yet, and I'm kind of impatient. I kind of wished the other Rock-type specialists had increased odds on the Olivia banner too, but I guess not.

Edit, because I don't want to double post: Apology gems got me Bugsy, Blue and Karen. I am content now. I am also poor.

I actually used 13 of the apology scouting attempts, and got a lot of repeats. I did get four new characters, but the only one of note is Olivia. The ones I really wanted are Agatha and Blaine.

I'm saving the rest for the eventual Leaf banner.

I know I should have kept them, but I decided to just use all my apology gems straight away. Out of twenty scouts, I only got five new characters (Cheryl, Brycen, Lt. Surge, Wulfric and Mina). Goddamn these repeats.

Well boys, I did it. I finally got a 5-Star (Not including Rosa). After 2 10x Scouts, I got Kris.

Notable Syncs I got as well:
A Gardenia (I actually really liked this 4-star, but I guess I'll stick with Rosa for now due to the fact that Rosa is a 5-star sync.)
3 Janine repeats (Despite liking Janine, I thought this was a bit too much)
3 Bugzy repeats (I wish that Bugzy got Scyther instead of Beedrill, but I guess I can't get everything I want.)
2 pulls of the seemingly common Crasher Wake (Yeah.)
2 Liza pulls (Surprisingly there were no Tate to be found.)

I squandered all of my free 6,000 gems the other day to get a 5 star that WASN'T Blue (I got a repeat Phoebe). Then, after accumulating gems from all of the unlocked Sync Pair Stories, I got Blue on my first try! Some others I got were Wikstrom, Candice, Tate, Roxanne, Will, and Brawly.

Well my luck has ended apparently. Had saved up 7020 gems for Lyra but the only 5* I got was another Blue, the 5* I care the least about. I wish you could decide what to do with duplicates, dupes of units you don't care about are 100% useless the first five times so it will take ages before 5* dupes will becomes useful in any way if you don't care about the unit. Would be a lot happier if you could just choose to turn the dupe into a 5* ticket instead but oh well.

Also got a whole bunch of 3/4* duplicates (including three Lizas and three Winonas sigh), but also got three units I'd been looking for: Roark, Roxanne, Brycen, and Maylene. So at least it wasn't all for nothing, though I'm kinda miffed I still haven't gotten either Gardenia or Roxie yet. It's kinda ridiculous that getting a specific 4* is harder than getting a 5* unit atm.

EDIT: Nevermind, just got Roxie!!! She's def worth all those gems, I'll take it.

Still hoping for Blaine, or maybe a Flint, or maybe another 5-Star.

I'm constantly buying Sync Scouts for the Lyra spotlight event, mainly because I'm kinda hoping that Ethan and Cyndaquil would be a sync pair, and since I already have Kris, I could have a full Johto Team.
