I don't think so, and I've always noticed there isn't a dolphin Pokemon, either.

What about a wyrm?
I recall everyone wanting Serperior to be Grass/Dragon before the announcement.

There's also no whomping willow Pokemon, a Cerberus Pokemon, a troll Pokemon, nor a titan Pokemon.

That would've made sense. Even if a lot of the Generation V Pokemon have unnecesary typing, Serperior as a Grass/Dragon would've actually made sense.

There hasn't been a gryphon Pokemon in the series yet, and I'd like to see Iris getting her butt handed by the Cutie Mark Crusaders, or Balrog, or the Mega Man 3 robot masters, or Dr. Facilier, or Demoman.

I always thought a Cutie Mark Crusaders/Muse crossover (like mah sig) would be awesome.

Sweetie Belle = Matt
Apple Bloom = Chris
Scootaloo = Dom

IT'S TOO PERFECT.

Sceptile should've gotten a Grass/Dragon typing, and Serperior doesn't look enough like a dragon.

Rayquaza doesn't count. Wyrms don't fly (At least they don't in MTG)

Does Regigigas count as a titan? I mean, it pulled continents (Lord Groudon made him do it)

A titan is an elemental monster like the ones from Hercules, and Rayquaza's based off of a Chinese dragon and Shenron.

I'd say so. There's also no sasquatch Pokemon

There's also no whomping willow Pokemon, a Cerberus Pokemon, a troll Pokemon, nor a titan Pokemon.

Is "whomping willow" some sort of Western term for a weeping willow? Is that a tree that has really droopy, vine-like leaves? Or is it something else?

Now that I think about it, a weeping willow Pokemon is a good idea. So is a mangrove Pokemon. It could have cypress trees on its back (akin to Torterra), Grass/Water type... that would be interesting.

Eh, I'm getting tired of primate-based Pokémon. Black and White gave us at least seven of them

Plant-based Pokemon is where it's at for me. Breloom kicks serious vertabrate ass.

I'm none too familiar with Harry Potter, but there's a tree that attacks people, right? Is that what you're talking about? I'm pretty sure that was a weeping willow, which is what I call it.
