This isn't about competitive battles this time, it's a common fact that some Pokemon have either horrid physical offense or horrid special offense. Even the strategy guides tell you how important stats are.
Yeah.. In-game I use Pokemon I like. I give them fairly effective movesets, but I don't worry about it too much. I'm not going to do a lot of wild stuff to get a competitive moveset on an in-game Pokemon. I teach my Nidoking Ice Beam for fun, so what?
