Similarly, I get irritated by people using the wrong form of a homonym. One of the more common ones I see is "to." I see this quite a lot.

For example,

People's Facebook Status: "Hey guys! The mall was to fun!!"

Me (being a Grammar Nazi): So the mall was going to fun? What the heck?

I still wonder how people can even THINK that. Warmth is clearly superior. Then again, I live in a "tropical" climate.

I spent most of my early life living in perpetual snow, or so I'm told.

Yeah, the first three years of my life were spent in Canberra, which is far colder than Queensland.

On a happier note, less 100 days til I go to NASA!
