and to the other posts:don't ever dooooo that!....odd people you may not know could hurt you or worse!!!

Don't be silly--Archaic and Kasumi met online and wound up married. There's also Ryuu and Feli, who met online and met up irl and are madly in love. Internet dating is fine, you just need to be smart about it.

I dated someone on Internet, once, although I ended the relationship after like 3 weeks. It was awkward, but not because it was online.

Internet friendships are work. Id think actual dating online would be alot more work.

It's been less than a month since I ended up. I'll wait a few months before I try again.

My aunt and uncle met online, and they've been married for over ten years :D

As for me, I don't know. I'm not particularly interested in dating right now, but that could change. Internet relationships for me wouldn't be THAT much different from internet friends... I think. Obviously it would be more of a commitment.

It's pretty much like an Internet friendship, except that you're closer to the person. But it's not for everyone. I prefer real relationships, although I don't have a lot of experience to base this on.

I don't ask people out; people ask me out. But most of the time, the relationship goes well, and we're still friends afterwards.
