All-Hands Rocket Retreat.jpg
Another Team GO Rocket takeover is happening right now in the All-Hands Rocket Retreat event in Pokémon GO. This takeover will end on April 7th, at 11:59 p.m. local time. Salandit and Salazzle, the Toxic Lizard Pokémon, are making their debuts in Pokémon GO as part of this takeover event.

Starting with this event, Salandit are available to hatch from 12 km Eggs. 50 Salandit Candy are required to evolve female Salandit into Salazzle.

For this event, Team GO Rocket Grunts are all using different Shadow Pokémon. Trainers can catch the following Pokémon when they defeat the Grunts:
  • Alolan Rattata
  • Alolan Sandshrew
  • Alolan Exeggutor
  • Sudowoodo
  • Girafarig
  • Numel
The Team GO Rocket Leaders, Sierra, Cliff, and Arlo, are also using different Pokémon, while the Boss Giovanni is back, with Shadow Latias in tow. Defeat Giovanni to save Latias and a chance to capture it. A new Special Research story will also be available at the beginning of this event. Progress through it to receive a Super Rocket Radar, and chase down Giovanni.

The following event bonuses will be active during the event:
  • Team GO Rocket will be appearing more frequently at PokéStops and in balloons.
  • A Charged TM can be used to help a Shadow Pokémon forget the Charged Attack Frustration.
The following Pokémon will also be available to encounter when Field Research tasks are completed:
  • Sneasel ⁂
  • Scraggy (rare)
During this event, a special one-time-purchase event bundle will be available in the in-game shop for 1275 PokéCoins, featuring 10 Max Potions, 10 Max Revives, and 5 Rocket Radars.
