Shaky on the defensive side, but quite speedy and reliable. My Liepard in White 2 has gotten me out of many a precarious situations.

I don't hate it (I actually really like it's final design), but there are other Grass-type starters I like so much better.

Very cute, name pun is simple but it works, should have been on Whitney's team for more Gen 2 rep

Quite like it, although i prefer its pre-evolution. Possibly due to its eyes.

Always liked Masquerain. It's another of Gen 3's really vivid, "Let's capitalize on all these colors we can use now!" Pokémon, and has a very striking appearance for a bug. It's one of the more true-to-life applications of Intimidate; that's what those huge eye-like antennae would be used for. I suppose it's disappointing that it doesn't remain Bug/Water, but it's not as if Bug/Flying doesn't make sense for it, and they've made up for the Bug/Water thing now (along with buffing Masq, which is appreciated).

It's a cute Pokémon, and I began loving it even more after that BW episode. It sure has an interesting concept for its design and lore.

Pretty neat, honestly. All the hate it gets is undeserved.
