One of my favorite Galar Pokémon. It started to grow on me when I saw a leaked picture of it, and I decided to use one in my first play through (nicknamed Dune). I have to say it’s probably my favorite snake Pokémon; I just really like its silly face and coloration.

I love Skarmory's design, but I don't really like the way it glides in the 3D games. I've never trained a Skarmory but I'd like to - if I did it would probably be in a 2D game like SoulSilver where it looks a lot cooler.

I have a soft spot for Samurott because it was my starter in White. It might not be the best Water starter out there, but it's still pretty cool. Thanks to Island Scan I was also able to use a Samurott and Typhlosion in Moon, which complimented Decidueye nicely.

Magcargo

I think Magcargo is pretty underrated! The idea of a slug made of lava, which evolves into a snail when some of the lava cools and hardens to form a shell, is so clever. I like Slugma a little more than Magcargo though, because the two flames on its head make it cuter.

It's a sweet little thing, and is actually one of my go-to Pokemon for Alola playthroughs because I like Ribombee a lot. Bug/Fairy is a cool type combination.
