A very good bird, honestly. Probably my favorite of the Common Regional Bird in pokemon so far. It's got a cool design and concept and is extremely reliable in battle. What's not to like?

An adorable and highly useful Grass Mon. Easily one of the best in the first gen and tends to not fall into the trap that most Grass Mons get saddled with (namely having an atrocious move pool).

Super menacing, especially in the anime. It's reasonably good in game too, albeit could be better in competitive. A great type combo though, I prefer it to Skunktank.

It's kinda ugly, IMO. A hippo that lives in sand is a pretty cool concept, though, so it's not really bad. Its sprites were also a lot better than its 3D model

One of my all-time favorites, right up there with Charizard. Also my very first Pokemon in the main series games, so Blaziken means a lot to me.

Looks better on paper than it does in practice. It should be a physical rather than special mon.

An interesting take on a type of seahorse with a pretty cool typing. It's one of the few Dragon Mons that don't fear Fairies. Shame it's so slow, though. It was also one of my first shinies in my earliest Y run that I got via chain fishing. Overall, not bad.
