The Artist's Alcove's First Official Art Contest!

The theme of the first official art contest is simple: Black and White.

Any kind of art is allowed; traditional art, digital art, graphics, sprites; if it's art, it's welcome!

To participate:

Participants must post the URL to their entry's image within this thread. When the contest is over, the Artist's Alcove moderators will judge the entries, deciding on the 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place entries.

To conclude, here are the guidelines:

• Art pieces must consist of only black and white in color. Small splashes of other colors are allowed for artistic value, but images must be largely black and white.
• Any kind of art is welcome.
• No pornography or adult imagery. If you have to ask if it will offend someone, it's likely it will and is not allowed.
• Only enter art that you have made yourself.

Prizes:

First Place: The opportunity to decide the theme for a future Bulbagarden Forums skin!

Second/Third Place: A congratulatory banner made by the Staff Artist (Blazaking EX).

Deadline:

• 10^th September 2012 [2 weeks]

Well, I'd prefer that you actually enter an art piece into the contest, not a comic strip. Unless you think you can pull off a very artistic comic strip, that is.
