By the way I edited my post on why some people hate the Lion King and why those people need to use their brain thoughts.

Actually a lot of hardcore otakus dont even know who Osamu Tezuka is and why he was respected. Its pretty sad considering he is the reason their culture exists. :/

Also for me their is no sides, just good animation and bad animation. No one culture is better.

Also people always call Ghibli the Disney of Japan even though that makes no sense.
You see Disney started which influenced Tezuka making him the Disney of Japan.
And then Ghibli started which influenced Pixar making them the Ghibli of America.

I don't think Pixar was influenced by Ghibli... Or at least, not much. I always felt like they were just CG Disney, artistically.

Ummm Booger I'm just gonna say that if I had a dollar for everytime I've seen John Lassenger come up on the screen or something and say how awesome Ghibli is and how he tries to make his movies as detailed as them and how he feels like he will never be worthy...then well I could buy myself something nice. Believe me on this.

Ever seen Pulp Fiction? I watched it three or four times in a week. Can practically quote the whole movie.
