the plot of HG makes more sense than the plot of SS.

I have at least one unplayed version of the pokemon games since I have a bad habit of buying every version. my unplayed games are:
Gen I: Red
Gen II: Gold
Gen III: Sapphire and LeafGreen
Gen IV: Pearl and SoulsSilver

Unplayed games... 0_0
I might develop that habit too next spring...when B/W come out.
I am hoping to buy another DS Lite this winter. :yahoo:

One of my other favorite things in the old games are glitches.

For me it's:
Gen I: Blue (I bought it two years ago)
Gen II: Gold, Silver, Crystal (same as above, sold my GBA so I can't play them)
Gen III: N/A
Gen IV: Diamond
the plot of HG makes more sense than the plot of SS.

What's the difference between the two plots, besides the Ho-Oh/Lugia thing?
*hasn't exactly played SS all the way (only up to the fifth gym)*

Rainbow: I like the glitches as well, some are fun to play around with.

^ Okay, I think I see what Ryuu meant.
Still, I would have understood better if I played SS.

Games i didnt play:
Gen I- Green( obviously because it was Japanese only)
Gen II- played all of them
Gen III- FireRed and LeafGreen( though i own both)- i was a bit focused on R/S/E at the time- I am however using them to collect shinies
Gen IV- Platinum
Gen V- White- not started due to SRing Mijumaru, im kinda obsessed w/ finishing my Soul Silver shiny Lugia hunt, its kinda taking forever

When it comes to pokemon games, I get so caught up in one version I either never start the other or don't get very far in it.

I usually play one and finish it then focus on it. I'll occasionally pop into the other version; but I still play both versions.

Only games I never played out of the main series out in English are Blue, Silver (and Crystal, too, if owning it for a few hours before it got stolen doesn't count), and Platinum, I guess. And even then, I sometimes used the kid brat's game for kicks.

B/W music is being overrated. Although the sky arrow bridge music is heavens of awesomeness, the others are mostly meh. I don't get why people are praising it so much.
