Oh, now I get it. ^^
My school is the same, in a way. If you get a good grade on the PSSAs, you get exempted from the Dibles (you read to your teacher.. it can be really boring).
I remember my school had exempted me (this year) from the Dibles because of my score on the PSSAs, yet there's something tied to the Dibles that I still have until next month. I onlt have part A of it, not part B, so I guess that slightly makes up for it.

They time you to see how many words you can say correctly per minute. I always finished the first three "paragraphs", as they were all two to three sentences long.
You had to read three to them.
I was so happy when I heard that I was exempted from them, because just talking through a phone to a teacher reading three paragraphs to them isn't very... fun.
The teacher normally can't understand you using a phone.

Staying in school untill 5pm has its charm, in a way. It's a lot nice in school when everything's quiet.

Staying in school until 5 does have it's advantages, I suppose. You can catch up on studying with the library, for example.
Or you can work on your homework in a nice, quiet space in the library.
...Or come on BMGf.

If we tried to ride a bike here, you wouldn't exactly stand a chance with all of the deer, cars, bears, dogs, cats, everything all over the place.

Here, you wouldn't stand a chance against people, cars (on the bike roads, yes, they're breaking the rules), motorcycles, and lots of other obstacles such as shop signs and stands.

Now try to do the same thing in a city, any city near me. It's even worse off. There's a reason why it is recommended to use an immobile bike if you're biking for exercise purposes around here...

I live out in the country, and it's still always busy with traffic and such. Not exactly what you normally... expect from the country, to be honest.

......I live in a city, Resh. That's what I am talking about. XD

Ahahaha... looks like I... oh.

The amount of ambulances going past my school is disturbingly high. Sirens on. Like, every few hours, expect one. Sometimes, two in a row.

The reason? Walking distance to a two hospitals.

There's always quite a few ambulances and fire trucks going up our road.
And storm state troopers, as there's a drug dealer just five minutes from us.

There was a case of people in my class suddenly hear screeching breaking noises.

Some classmates were expecting to hear a crash. That's right, a crash. The teacher then promptly said, "Is that what you people really want? A car crash? How inconsiderate."

Well, at my cram school (where I learned before applying to college), we could always hear a "SCREEEK" at the roads nearby. Luckily, no crash followed.

Reshriam: My old classmates were the same. If it wasn't a car crash, they didn't care about it..
