I figured out about two or three hours after it happened.
What do you think of them?
Some of them don't even make much sense..

Klink slightly makes sense.
Gears make a "klink."

Klink is okay in my view...
I think the rest would be fine, too.

The three elemental monkeys' names are kind of odd...

If people had abilities, Maxie would have Moxie.

Moxie? XD What would that ability do?

Moxie is the English name for Overconfident (raises the user's attack one stage after defeating a Pokémon).

The new name's catchy, and obviously more convenient to say or write than "Overconfident" :-D

I wonder if the ten letter limit applies to abilities as well?

It doesn't. If you look at "Storm Drain", it's 11 characters long if you include the space. There probably is a limit, though.

Oh right, and now I think of it, there's "Chlorophyll" and "LightningRod". :)

The latter's 12 characters long, even.

Wow. I don't think I've seen anything longer than "LightningRod", so 12 characters might be the limit.

I dislike most of the new names.

I haven't really looked, but I don't think I'd mind them too much. I never really thought much about names anyway. I tend to favour their look.

Even if I am annoyed with some names I get used to them in the end, so I'll say in general I'm not bothered with them.

Yeah. And any Pokémon that I like using will be named by me anyway.

I'll probably get used to them after a while, as well.
But I have a feeling this might be the first time I'm actually nicknaming Pokémon.
I have quite a few ideas, actually.

Right, nicknaming is another option...

I wonder how the Korean names will turn out. I'll need to get used to them as well as the moves. I only played English games so far. It'd be a challenge XD

Aren't the Korean names normally similar to the English names?
And yeah, going from one language to another language for games actually is slightly hard, as if you don't speak said language, you might not understand what's going on.
