I said long time, not less than a year.

And I have had two major events that I could see why they wouldn't up me. No I will NOT explain them

I don't want to have a Mod position/authority, mostly 'cuz as a college student, I never have TIME.

I'm content to hang around as a mere User.

You know what I mean...

Anywho, I have to go to bed. Which means, watch Slayers Next.

I remember the days when I would dream of being part of the staff of all of the websites I would be at. Except for like, Facebook and some others. But like, Bulbapedia, here... stuff like that.

I still feel a little ashamed that some random guy at the GameStop out-geeked me with his knowledge of Pokemon giveaways. I'm a failure...

So you admit to being fat. And old.
(Even I think 29 is pushing it a bit much for Pokémon, on a forum made of misplaced fans. It's a kid's game, remember?)

OH SNAP LOOK AT THIS HERE SASS

There are 80-year olds in Japan who love Pokémon. Go ask them the same question, and when you do, you can come back. ;)

Someday when I'm an old retiree I plan on returning to my childhood hobby of model railroading.

So no, you don't have to give up something because of your age. Let the haters hate.

The idea of giving up on something you love just because you're "too old" for it always seemed extremely stupid to me.

Right. Like, I only "outgrew" stuff because I didn't like the new incarnations of it. Like for DBZ, after the World Tournament season, I didn't like it. After a certain point, I didn't like the Bionicles they had coming out. I also stopped keeping up with some shows, only because they stopped airing new ones, and the old ones got... old, after 20 times.

Miar, if you want to battle, message me, because I'm getting off for the night. Maybe we can get a battle going sometime.

For me it's kind of pick-and-choose. I've stuck with Pokemon since 1998, but I stopped watching the Simpsons about 6 years ago because I just didn't like it any more. (Plus I was getting obsessed with the more extreme South Park at the time.) And I've recently started following Regular Show, just 'cuz I find it hilarious.

These are just examples, there's plenty of other cases.
