I don't think I ever watched Star Trek.
See, that's the thing... I was always a die-hard Star Wars fan too. I know EVERY line in all 6 movies. Seriously.
It's just... Something about The Next Generation has been mesmorizing me lately. I'm becoming obsessed with it. The superior theme music, the fun characters and the way they all bounce off each other. Not to mention vastly expanding the world of the franchise, quite imaginatively.
Really?
Then what are the first words that General Greivous says in chronological order?
In Revenge Of The Sith, he coughs, then says "What's the situation?"
"Two Jedi have landed in the main hangar bay. We're tracking them."
"Just as Count Dooku predicted. Heh heh heh..." *Moar coughs*

Seems legit.
Ya, I actually prefer TNG to the original series (I was a child of the nineties, so that was more relevant to my interests (and had better special effects)).
I didn't even need to look anything up. It's that ingrained in my memory.
Altho if you want to ask me about that lame-ass 2D Clone Wars series, I don't know what to tell you. That drawing style made my eyes bleed.

So you like the 3-D Clone Wars series?
I think I remember you said it was watchable...
I like the quote from Big Bang Theory:
"I want to watch the Clone Wars movie then the TV show, so I can be disappointed in the order that George Lucas intended"
Yeah, it's pretty good. Took me a little while to warm up to it, but it's becoming a good show.
Heh, nice.

For me the main appeal is being able to watch new Star Wars stuff, since I've rewatched the movies to death.
That's partially why I enjoy TNG Trek - the chance to watch "new" sci-fi. To me, anyway.
