You've got some time, you have to get into college first, then you can decide what to study

No, not really. It goes hand in hand. If I want to get into college, I have to specify a study. Namely, the one I want to study.

@H-Con: Army life sounds horrible D:

Meh, you eventually get used to it, and it's not horrible, although we often have the little moments of pure hate. I would assume that everyone in this thread could have done the same we do, unless they have some kind of injury or something.

And besides, being kicked up to the rank of corporal helps somewhat as well.

Can't wait till school starts after summer though.

Where I live 50% is participation and 50% is the weekly fitness test.

By the way, I don't know if I showed this here, but I am working on an Arcanine in MS Paint. (Yeah, I am used to paint's lack of options by now.)

Ken the Pen: Nice avatar.

When I had PE back in high school, it was based on participation.

Thanks, I have a lot more of it done, including most of the chest, but I am just too lazy to upload it. xD

Here, PE isn't about ability.
Grades are based on participation.

It may be hard to believe, but here it's graded on results and ability. Very little on participation. :(

*starts pedaling the electric bike that supplies power for this thread*
What's D8?

HEY! You should be pedaling, too! xD

Anyway, what was D8 that you were talking about? Just curious about the meaning.

Oh, okay then xD

*pant pant* I lack exercise, for sure... =P
(In real life, I actually do xD)

@Holo: Yes, that's exactly the worst part of P.E. here. So if you simply don't have the ability to cross the line within that time, you'll get points off, depending on how further you are from the standard.

...I always wonder how those 'standards' are set in the first place.

^ the faces made as rage sets in when words are processed.

That is idiotic! Can schools get any worse? Ability in P.E is silly to grade, as not every human is built the same or has the same home life--the school cannot control our diets and activeness outside of school, and that affects our ability in a class like P.E. To grade a student on that is wrong, as their abilities may be solely determined by the environment they live in.

Well here, they don't give a rat's ass, so long as you dress out, so I am sorry to hear that
