It's too cloudy here to see the eclipse. I didn't know it would be visible in the northern hemisphere too.

You're right, Hurristat.
My dream is to see a solar eclipse.
The day becoming night all of a sudden. It'd be awesome

Sourcandy. Nobody likes boxes. Humans don't like being constrained. For those that do, they're putting up a good job of faking it.

It's not quite like that. A full solar eclipse is rare. Furthermore, you'll need sunglasses to see it safely.

Parmalee declares war on boxes! They've held us back for too long!

hurristat. Duh. You're clearly not supposed to look in the sun.

Most people don't realize that it's still dangerous with solar eclipses. It's actually more dangerous, but I forget why.

But I meant a FULL one. I guess I'll need glasses to look at the sun, but not to see the day getting dark. Baybe I'll see one in 2040, when I'll be 52 =p

Normal sunglasses don't work. You need special things for it.

*puts on nerd glasses* When we look at the normal sun, it's too bright and we look away with the reflex action. But with solar eclipses, it's less brighter so we don't get the reflex action. But it's still the sun with radiation going right into your eyes.

*takes off nerd glasses*
