Disney will buy you next. When you least expect it, bam, you're owned by Disney.

Bam, you're standing in "It's a small world" and pretending you're a doll.

Also, wtf at my university having a course called "Things, Nature and Signs 1". There's even "Things, Nature and Signs 2". (Or well, it's English title is Signs, Nature and Objects)

I seem to remember some uni having a course on Harry Potter. Pretty dumb, really.

Yup. Then again, we have a serious Ph.D. subject called Fish Salting. Serious business.

I'm actually more surprised that the part of campus that have these courses have a plant bio center that have a direct uplink with the ISS. I jelly. Definitely going to visit that one some day.

Statistics? Yeep, I was terrible at that in college. (I was a sociology major, I graduated last year.)

I had a stats class hast year. I somehow passed, I still have no,idea what I was taught.

I somehow got an A in that class. I'm terrible at math too. Guess my teacher was good enough to help the broken calculator in my head.

At college it was you either passed or failed, we never found out the percentage we passed, which is odd.

I think I'd like that better than letter grades.
Yeah I think a percentage is more telling if how well you understand the course than just a grade.
Why must I have awesome bread but not any cheese. Cruel fate.
Try stay on topic, if you want others to talk about something else, just say that. We just don't want people interjecting.

What I mean is, in your previous post just say something along the lines of "we've talked about this a lot already, lets talk about this".

My parents went shopping yesterday so we have a bunch of cheese, mostly cheddar though xD I like a good cheese sandwich, with some ham, mayonnaise, tomato, maybe some beetroot.

We should talk about cheese then. I love chedder , American and colby jack cheese the most, especially those little squares. Grilled cheese sandwiches were my lunch on most of my off-days in high school. Swiss and American cheese is delicious when melted together.

Yes we should :D I like all sorts of cheeses, my mum sometimes gets this five counties cheese, which is thick strips of local cheese made into a block of cheese. And good ol' mature cheddar. And I like smoked cheese, judging by the one I had over Christmas.

Lolwat. Since when do we have to announce that you are trying to change the topic? Making a post like I just did has never been a problem for the past three years in this thread, and I haven't seen any new announcements saying that they have became. Secondly, your topic is 12 hours old, and has only had 2 posts partaining to it since it died 10 hours ago. Which is why I was trying to create a new topic since the chat was kinda dead. Thirdly, there is no one who forces you to even acknowledge my post, if you want to continue talking about statistics/grades/whatever go right ahead, I'm not forcing you to stop.

Seriously, you're making an issue out of nothing.

I haven't had tried alot of types of cheeses but smoked cheddar sounds really good. There's a store in my state that sells all these varieties of cheeses and they let you sample them and they have some interesting flavors. Like there's a blueberry cheese with bits of blueberry in them. It's pretty good.

We just think it'd be easier if we could try stay with a topic and then when it's done with or someone wants to move on, just say that. It's a conversational thread, so we want conversations, not random interjections. If you wanted to revive the thread fine, just say that then.

I'll talk to Octy and see if we're being too strict on this, bear in mind I'm a new mod and I'm just getting the hang of this. If you have any further issues, PM me.
