I eat cereal every day. My mom hates cooking in the mornings and I'm too lazy to make anything else.

Taking a slice of bread and putting whatever on it hardly qualifies as cooking :p
I'm, uh, I'm not sure placing food on bread is cooking.

I don't think you read my post well enough.

Also my dad recently expressed his wonder over why Mexican food is so popular in the US as he doesn't care that much for it. :p I told him they just like to order food in the US and Mexican food is easy to order there. Same why Chinese and Thai food etc. are so popular there.

Has anyone ever eaten an avocado sandwich?

Used to love 'em as a kid, now I can't stand them because I can't stand avocados anymore. God I hate avocados.

No. America doesn't have a culture. We're are a mixture of other cultures. So we eat food from everyone. Even so called American food like Hot-Dogs came from somewhere else.

You're right Mijz, Mexican food is cheap and easy to make here, especially in the Southwest. And my gosh do you get a lot of Thai food if you decide to go to a Thai restaurant, it's amazing haha

I was never really a fan of Chinese food. Or food from the far east in general.

That is very poetic but not why. That's the reason it got there, not the reason why it stuck around. We have a lot of Turkish immigrants in the Netherlands, yet the only two dishes that non Turkish people would eat semi-commonly are kebab and Turkish pizza. Why? Because those are easy to order.

Or maybe because it tastes good. I like Mexican food.

I thought it would be pretty obvious. I guess not.

Quick, everyone name your favorite town in Unova.

The U.S. definitely does have a culture. It might have been influenced by multiple cultures, but it has its unique features.

I wish Indian food and Thai food were more popular in my town. Heck, pretty much every type of cuisine other than Americanized Chinese and Mexican food (not that they are bad, just that we have a ton of restaurants of that type already). I just hope the one Indian place I know of in town gets enough business to stick around (naan om nom nom) and that we get a good Thai place eventually ;__; A Korean restaurant would be awesome as well.

As for favorite town in Unova, I don't know yet because I haven't been to them all. I never did the post game in B/W, and I'm only at Virbank in W2.

You know, Indian restaurants never seem to last where I've been either :/ There was one open for about a year but it folded, and I think it still holds the record for longest-lasting Indian-themed restaurant in my town. Also, Thai restaurants are where it's at :p they just give you so much food, it's like 2 or 3 meals if you get take out.

There are a plethora of Indian restaurants due to immigration from the Caribbean. Ironic since I don't really care for it. I love roti though.

I'm not super into taking stuff home and eating it as leftovers, so I'd be fine with them giving me less food. Like today, the lunch portions at the Thai place my mom and I ate at were huge and so cheap. And delicious too of course. That's why we need one in our town. The one we do have makes a peanut sauce that tastes like vomit (according to a friend, I'm afraid to try it). I've just had the Pad Thai there, and I'll just say this: never again ;__;

Aw, leftovers rock D: lol, it doesn't sound like the best place to be eating, though I can say I've never had Pad Thai myself (to my knowledge).

We have a random Caribbean place downtown from a couple of guys who I'm assuming decided to corner the Caribbean food market in Winchester, seeing as that's the only place you can get that kind of cuisine. They're both from the islands (can't remember the specifics) and I've heard it's good.

I don't think I've ever had Caribbean food. Another thing to put on the culinary experience list!

@Sunburn; Next time you go, have Pad Thai with Thai Iced Tea. Tangy noodles ftw! And mention fail, I'm used to your Skype name. Oops, person who has Sunny as a username on here lol
