I just lit up reading that famous MLB pitchers Matt Cain and Justin Verlander are playing at the AT&T Pro-Am at Pebble Beach. I hope they both play on Friday, which is when I'm doing volunteer work for my school's golf team...

I'm surprised I know who they are.

Then again, you could name about ten of the most famous people on the planet and I'd have no clue who half of them were. I'm not good at stuff like this. xP

I'm guessing they're golfers, though. xD

... I'm not 100% sure. Um, was he an activist/freedom rights supporter/pacifist who was sent to prison? I think we covered him in R.E once. Maybe.

You're thinking Nelson Tegala. Mandela was a gay rights in 1970s San Fransisco, he set up gay parades, gay pride events, even helped popularise disco within Frisco's gay community. Mandela was shot by Mark David Chapman in 1980 but his influence in the gay rights movement is still heard and seen today.

Im not sure who the most famous people in the world are ^^;

I'm actually struggling to think of most important people. There's obvious ones likes Gandhi, Mandela, Hitler, Mussolini. But they're all dead.

I wonder if any American presidents would be in the top 10.

Michael Jackson? Madonna? Elton John?

Although Michael Jackson is dead. Is it the top 10 living or top 10 living or dead?

I'd assume it's top 10 living, but I doubt anyone could make an actual list. There are just too many famous people out there and I don't know if there's really a way to rank them all. I'd guess it would be mostly Politicians, Athletes, Musicians, and Actors though.

Definitely not Elton John, kind of agree with Madonna and almost certainly MJ.

Id definately agree with Micheal Jackson, trying to think of other very famous singers.

As for presidents, idk Id say George Washington definately being the first.

Lol, honey boo boo :p

If it's famous dead people, that makes it even more difficult to rank people. You'd have to consider people like Hitler, Stalin, Darwin, Einstein, etc. People everyone has heard of.
