Spend past 3 hours watching old Oscars footage. I want be a actress....that will never happen.

Hopefully I'll have daughter in the future and she'll be an actress.

Pushing your own dreams on your children sounds like a plan.

Hey everyone! I'm awake again!

As I said in my post last night in case you missed it, last night was a lot of fun. I've got absolutely nothing to do today, so I'm probably going to chill and watch TV shows.

Hopefully I'll have daughter in the future and she'll be an actress.

Go rent the movie Gypsy before you go too far with this.

I did indeed. And I didn't drink too much.

And I was able to get a ride home from someone there, so I didn't have to rely on the evil MBTA to end my fun early.

(Seriously, what major city's subway system stops running at 1 on weekends? When last call is at 2? Such bullshit.)

@Goodbye Blue Monday;Wait, does it stop running at 1 in the morning or one in the afternoon? Both sound like stupid times to stop running to me. o-o;;

@Pokemoll; @mariowie;

Yeah, I meant 1 in the morning. 1 pm would be ridiculously inconvenient considering the number of people who use it to get to and from work or school.

The 1 am thing is still a little annoying, though, because it basically means that unless you have a car, you can't go out anywhere that you can't walk to later than when the T stops running. It's also pretty unheard-of for most major cities in the U.S. that I know. (Like, New York's subway runs all night IIRC, but even other cities will at least keep until 2 or 3 am, or around when last call is at the bars. That's what weirdest about Boston; their last call is after the subway stops!)

We don't have a subway system here, so I wouldn't know about times and stuff like that. We have trains, of course, but from my knowledge the city ones come and go every half an hour until midnight.

And DJ, I sadly don't live in 'Merica.

Well, shit. As a Detroiter, maybe I should do that.

I think trains are a bit different because they're usually dealing with people commuting from further away, for work and such, as opposed to people getting around the city. Not people who would be out and about late at night.

'Murrica is overrated.

Haha. I thought you were the Caps fan?

The sad thing is, I don't really care that much about hockey, so that's why I'm not watching, even though I feel like I should; it's the only Big 4 sport where my hometown team is consistently good. I might get a Red Wings hat or something just to taunt all the Bruins fans here though. Anyway I prefer baseball (and I'm getting antsy that baseball season is just a month away!)

i am. i'm a hawks fan because most of my family is from chicago, so it's the family team. i'm a caps fan because i grew up watching them, the local team. so a caps/hawks stanley cup final is like heaven for me.

and same, although with the skins and nats doing good, the caps aren't doing too well this season. xD but they're turning it around!

The Nats did really amazing last year. I really wanted to see them in the World Series, even though I usually don't care about the National League, because I know they'd never been there. Oh well!

I'm a Tigers fan, with the Orioles as my second-favorite team because I lived in Baltimore for four years and my stepdad is a native. So this was a pretty good season for me, for the most part. But I'm excited to see what 2013 brings!

Everyone knows the Islanders are the best though! I'm no big sports fan, but boy do I love my state's teams. Yankees, Jets, Knicks, and Islanders, the best teams in the world.

the nats did win their first-ever division championship since being stationed in DC last year, though.
