Even creamy that shit's a nightmare for the blenders blades. Unless you have some sort of super blender, which might make sense. What brand is it?

I finally got not-lazy enough that I got up off the couch and looked at the blender. It said Breville.

I really don't think it's a super-blender. I just think, maybe, you're not doing the PB right? Because this is a recipe I got off the Internet, and didn't have any special requirements for blender brands to use.

@maria; The fuck is that "recipe"

(and SEE? I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO BRINGS UP BOOZE OUT OF NOWHERE IN THIS THREAD)

Its not that the recipe needs to mention a brand, I'm just saying that even a good blender would choke a little with PB. Maybe I just can't remember the consistency of PB is all. Was also going to mention the random alcohol being brought up, but I was too afraid of having H-con going on another bitch fit.

Yeah, juicers are not blenders. Huge, difference now makes sense how the PB didn't kill it.

Oh, gotcha. Still, there blenders are are high class, so I guess that makes sense as to how it didn't chug. If it were a normal 20-40 dollar blender it would be in the trash already.

@maria; Do you have any actual recipes for smoothies that involve booze?
Booze smoothies can be given by anyone, not just Scottish folk. I would suggest something with Pineapple, rum, and either coconut ice cream or coconut milk. Too exotic? Shred ice, some berries and vodka and you are good to go.

One thing I hate about making drinks is because I have a citrus allergy, half the shit that is suggested as ingredients for those is stuff I can't have.

(Don't worry, pineapple isn't citrus. I was reminded because I used to think it was and felt I had to avoid it. I was very relieved when I found out this wasn't the case.)

Damn that sucks, it means you can't experience a tequila properly. I dunno what I'd do if I can't combine my tequila with some salt and lime.

I've never had tequila, true fact.

Anyone seen anything good on TV lately? I watched two episodes of Louie last night, the show still hasn't clicked for me, but I think it's alright. Not really watched TV this weekend, though I said finish all of Black Mirror on Tuesday.

Just a thought - how would you guys feel about having a general alcohol discussion thread, since it's popped up a couple times here I figure having its own thread is a good idea.

Been staying up till 6 in the morning so I can watch charmed without my parents giving me a strange look if I were to watch it at 10 pm. I swear that show is like a drug for me, I just don't know why. I think its cause the girls were my first celebrity crushes.

You could just go to sleep at a normal time then wake at 6 for your show :p

I watched the 50 km in the World Championship. Was pretty entertaining, although Norway didn't get any medals this time. Not that we haven't taken enough of those already though.

Just as I thought the snow was going away for the winter, it decides to shit on my face and give us more.

I prayed to the snow gods for a nasty end of winter just for the Scandinavian countries, so you can thank me later. ;D
