If you're talking about Britain being scorching hot during the summer, nope, it's rare we even get past warm.

Really? brb moving to the UK :p

I hate the summer heat so much.
Really? I'd give anything for a bit of warmth, to be honest. I love hot temperatures and despise cold ones. Let's trade places! ;w;

Hope you like it being over 90 degrees F and humidity that makes it feel like in the 100's then.

Aww that's nice :) I hope you have fun! It was rainy a lot when I visited this summer but I still had fun, and there were some good days :p

Thank you! :'D Was it really hot during the summer time? I probably will drop by there again if I have the chance and I'd like to know how it is during that time of the year. I don't deal well with scortching temperatures, so it's a must ;_;

You're welcome ^^ and nope, it wasn't too hot at all, and I was there in mid-July. I even wore a jacket around in some areas (especially when it was raining, of course). I'd say it was more temperate than hot, it wasn't too bad. I know how scorching temperatures can be :p

Well Britain is pretty far north. The only reason it isn't freezing cold all the time is because of the gulf stream.

Not true. It's actually because in 1965 we passed legislation to ban freezing weather on a regular basis. So there you go.

It's fun to think that I live north of Anchorage in Alaska.

In memory of the catastrophe that is Sim City V, I think I'll play some SC4. Gotta build.

Anchorage is in the southern part of Alaska. Try Barrow instead, that's one of the northernmost towns.

I've only played sim city 1 :/

Nah, too far north. I live at 63 degrees north, not 71. The northernmost tip of mainland Norway is around 71 degrees.

I cannot fathom the person who thought it would be a good idea with always online...

Is that the new one that is just called Sim City? What is wrong with it?

Hey, guys. Some kid was copying off of me during a math test today, so because I'm too much of a spineless pushover to tell someone to stop copying off of me, I wrote a ton of wrong answers, made up a code of little dashes and slashes to remind myself of the kinds of mistakes I wrote, corrected them all at the teacher's desk and turned it in. I feel pretty smooth, and yet morbidly depressed at the same time, but that's another thing.

That's a good tactic. You should play chess.

I wonder what it would be like to live there year-round. I was in Fairbanks once during the summer solstice and the sun was out for 23 hours and 40 minutes, that was odd :p I'm used to living where the hours of daylight are more consistent.

Sounds like an interesting thing to experience. What did you have to do when you needed to sleep?
