Me either, except in Budweiser commercials.Oh I see. I've never heard of frogs being used.see TheMissingnoIsn't that pun about crickets?first it is I think and second you always have those grasshoppers chirping when it is silent.
Well there went the joke :d.
Sometimes those comedic reality TV shows use frogs' cries instead for those awkwardly quiet moments.
No I just mixed things up :d.Maybe in the Netherlands they use grasshoppers instead.
Yeah, we just call it spring break to be more PC, but it's always around Easter where I live.I think it's their equivalent to Easter break, @maria. Though I think they have a shorter amount of time off. What is Spring Break? I mean I've seen it on TV in Family Guy and Simpsons but I still don't really know what it is. It's not something we have over here.
I have Easter break plans but it's all revision and gaming.
Good for you, Sunny!I'm going to Alabama with friends to help out with hurricane relief and construction, it should be fun![]()
Unless it's community college. >>K-12 spring breaks often coincide with the week after or before Easter. College ones rarely do, because college school years usually end earlier.
That's how I felt about all the Mad Men conversations over the past month in here. xDI don't read superhero comics (unless Watchmen counts) so this conversation is making me feel lost.
^I never understood why people liked playing Minecraftit doesn't seem like an appealing game to be honest.
Same.Usually I just catch six Pokemon, progress through the game through them, then go back and catch Pokemon again. I usually stick to the same team throughout a whole game.
Lol. I bet that took you all day![]()
You and me both. .-.Man, work. I have so much free time to do things like write and stuff, and I've been running this spiel into the ground lately but my latest big deal about myself is that when I feel like I need to do something with my time but don't feel in the mood, I'll just go "I have free time" and get nothing done. :/ I need focus. I need to learn how to get into the mood for things instead of wait for it to happen.
I have yet to actually watch Eraser Head. >>; Only seen M. Drive, Blue Velvet, and the Twin Peaks movie. None of them were as good as (the first half and the very end of) Twin Peaks for me.You mean my brotherNot quite. But I do feel like I've been going through life at the speed of a lawn-mower.
Ooo that makes three people who read them all the way through then.Wow, boy did that text took forever to read. xD
You should take Copyright Laws seriously. Getting into legal trouble with Copyright issues is crazy expensive.

Compared to the experiences and interests of others here my life is extremely dull. But thanks. xD4 people, I decided to read it all for the hell of it. You're an interesting person Kakuna, very interesting.
They would literally need to build prisons the size of Goulags if they ever capture all the torrenters in the world. You should take Copyright Laws seriously. Getting into legal trouble with Copyright issues is crazy expensive.
When last I looked, the only lawyer in Norway monitoring torrents and the like had lost his license.
I don't really pirate, but to be frank, they really can't get most people that does it.
Sure you consider yourself dull, but you have a Silent Hill siggy so you're posts are readable in my books.Compared to the experiences and interests of others here my life is extremely dull. Same here. SH2 and 3 were all sorts of amazing.!!!Sure you consider yourself dull, but you have a Silent Hill siggy so you're posts are readable in my books.
Another SH fan has appeared!I still need to play SH1, SH4, and 0rigins.
Then don't play 2, you'll be shitting your pants from here to eternity.Well.. I played 4? I prefer my games less... creepy.

But to each their own.

I once wrote a novel, the story was finished in three pages. And that's why I can't write novels.
Ooo and another! Or maybe there's loads of people here, they just don't feel like talking to the obvious fangirl (i.e. me)Well.. I played 4? I prefer my games less... creepy.
Agreed. <3 I like the new installments too, but 2 and 3 had a different effect and atmosphere, if that makes sense.Same here. SH2 and 3 were all sorts of amazing.

That sounds like Age of the Empires, except less restrictions...?I've played it a few times myself. It's in a weird spot for me, this spot where it's a game that I personally can't get into, but I still understand why people like it. The thing is that Minecraft is freaking massive, and it just dumps you in to survive and do whatever you want. It sounds like my kind of game, but upon playing it I barely had any idea of how to go about it. It was... overwhelming, I guess you could say. I can't really get the hang of it, but I still think it's a good game.
I thought we were talking about work that will lead to a successful career later on in life, not a part-time retail job. xDDammit, I thought you had advice as a working person. >:I
That part with the...thing that looked like it was a Muppets reject was kinda freaky. I don't recall any other scary bits.I must confess that I haven't seen a David Lynch movie all the way through. :I I've seen most of The Elephant Man, but I didn't finish it.His style of finding the dark and weird side of not-exactly-epic things is a bit like my idea of how my life has been so far, so I've always felt a unique desire for his material in particular. My dad once told me that Mulholland Drive was really scary.
RE4 was the only RE game I've ever played and finished. I love that game, even though it was the stepping stone for the series shift from survival horror to action with splashes of horror. (which makes sense from a business standpoint, but I didn't real care for it.)Dead Space is about as Scary as Resi 4, in other words not so much. You know what this thread needs? PYRAMID HEAD!

I thought it only was true for guys! Do read up, maybe someone can finally comment on my novel idea. (both a pun and not a pun)I once wrote a novel, the story was finished in three pages. And that's why I can't write novels.
Don't sweat it, there are a lot of novelists who can't write short stories either.
I'll catch up with the rest of the thread momentarily but I can't see straight right now - probably because it suddenly got dark and probably because of the type of fanfiction I was reading. You know what they say. Anyway, I'm going to go take a shower.
I'm Like that with 2 strangely enough. 3 was tense, but not in the way 2 was. I still dunno what's worse, the opening fog hours, or the bloody shift to pitch black darkness after the hospital. Jesus Christ is that the best night I've ever witnessed, and I've played Shattered Memories too.Ooo and another! I'd say 3 was more creepy. 2 was more melancholic. I played on Normal for both, and after half way through I never had to worry about running out of ammo in 2. That happened in 3 multiple times, along with running out of health drinks. (Or I just suck at playing these games, that's entirely possible.)
