True enough. I guess you can say I'm a musician also by the fact that I have written my own tabs for the lyrics, but that's about it. No band, no push to make my stuff known, just personal madness of tabs and lyrics piling up for no reason.

Haha I remember when I'd buy bass magazines and they'd only have tabs. They always confused me, because I'm used to reading sheet music. Even though tabs are supposedly "simpler" I just couldn't wrap my mind around thinking in terms of where to put my fingers first and what the notes were second.

Plus I sometimes prefer to figure out my own fingerings.

@TheMissingno.; Well, there is a correlation IRL anyway. If you meet a girl with extremely short fingernails that she never paints, you can bet she's likely one of two things: a) a string player or b) a lesbian/bisexual. In my case, I'm both! Two birds, one stone, yay!

And I've brought this thread back into the gutter.

Couldn't it also be a straight girl with high self esteem?

Or c) a girl who works in retail and her nails constantly get chipped on stuff so it feels pointless to try and grow them out.

Though I'm not exactly sure how short short is in this case.

:| What a big ass post.

Well I actually do, it's fun and challenging but the company is rather big so they have some really big processes that are weird.
But I get to play with robots sometimes well to test if my code works and all so that is neat :3.
That's a baby one compared to some others, lol.

Ah, good ol' bureaucracy~
That does sound like it could be fun. ^^

Lego my Eggo.

Why do so many children's food commercials feature people or characters trying to steal food from each other?
To aid TWD in preparing us for the zombie apocalypse. Everyone for themselves!

Also, @Kakuna Matata; Nope, the only times I've ever stayed somewhere for more than a day, I've stayed in a caravan, so never a hotel.
Ah, reverse for me.

I actually have no freaking idea what Mad Men is about. I always figured it was a Mafia crime drama kind of thing.
Same here, until GMB posted her description. xD

So because I like hijacking conversations, does anyone else here have pets? And are you dog or cat people?

My parents have six cats. I prefer cats because they give no fucks, and whenever I have a friend with a cat, I have to pet it.

But I like dogs, too, on a case-by-case basis.
One dog, two cats, and a shit load of fish. In general I love the dog and cats to bits, but they each have their own ways of annoying me when they feel like it.

We're also currently dogsitting my brother's two dogs for the week. They're nice by themselves, but put them together and they cause loads of destruction. Our basement currently smells like a damn kennel. :dead:

Well, I just got back from practicing my bass, but it looks like everyone has gone to sleep!

Bummer. Well, gute nacht, then, I guess.

That usually happens when I get on early in the mornings on weekends, cuz pretty much everyone is asleep or at school. xD

How is everyone today?

I am in a maniacal depression over the lack of CoroCoro leaks. Otherwise I'm fine, enjoying my newly bought copy of Megaman X collection. X3 is all sorts of brilliant.

Does anyone know of any good free programs to record video games on your computer? I found a good one, but the free version only lets you record 30 seconds of video and they want $37 for the full version. That's more than I'm willing to pay.

I have Fraps because my sister's fiance bought it and then sent it to me, but it never worked because apparently sending it from one computer to the other doesn't work well. ._.;; Ah well, not like I have anything to record.

Well you have to install it and register it, so it wouldn't work unless you went in and messed with your registry and found a crack for the program.

Which is something I have neither the resolve, skill, or willpower to do. xD What even is a registry? I hear that term a lot but have no idea what it actually means.

I'm not exactly sure of the specifics myself, but it's basically where windows stores all of the information for applications and operating system stuff, like device drivers and whatnot. When you install the program it usually makes new registry keys for that program. You can look at your registry by going to run, then typing in "regedit." Don't mess with anything though. The only reason I ever go there is if I have a virus and I need to try to remove it manually.

Someone who actually knows what they are talking about should probably correct me.

When I did Crystal, I used a program called Hypercam, which is free. The problem with that is that it does not record the microphone sound and the computer sound separately like Fraps does. If you want to not use the game sound then I'd recommend it.

Somehow part 7 of my Crystal let's play got like 140 views. The second highest got like 30, so that's really weird.

My brother likes to leave the TV on whenever he can because he needs a little noise in the background in order to focus or something. He's one of those people. Anyway, it's on NBC so he can catch The Ellen DeGeneres Show on time and right now it's showing a program about... female hygiene. You know, that sort of thing.

Girls are grody.
