Well now I have a reason to watch that anime. I remember watching the later ones, never did catch SIGN.

Apparently her music was such a major part of that show's appeal, the DVD has an option that lets you watch it with the dialogue and sound effects off, just the soundtrack.

Wow. That's both really cool and weird. Did they not print an OST?

I think they did, but people wanted to watch the series as a music video?

I don't know. I only know all this because JesuOtaku mentioned it in her Madoka review.

Speaking of which, Jesus Christ - if the Madoka soundtrack is available in the U.S. or otherwise not impossible and super-expensive to get, I know what's going to the top of my birthday list.

@Booster Gold; Even Stevens is kind of a stretch. Zack and Cody was pretty awesome as well. I'm drawing blanks right now, but sitcoms were way better before.

Tell me about it xD. THATS SO RAVEN! PROUD FAMILY! AND EVEN FRICKEN STEVENS!

You have an interesting definition of "old."

When I hear "old sitcoms" I think, like, Green Acres.
That's an ancient sitcom. I define old based on my lifespan. Shows from the early 2000s are old to me because they occured early in my life. Plus, I'm not a TV critic like you.

Haha I'm actually kind of flattered that you consider me a TV critic. :)

Suite Life of Zack and Cody was really good.

Suite Life On Deck on the other hand...

I never watched those Disney Channel teen dramas so I guess I'm out-of-my-league in this conversation.

I mostly watched cartoons (including anime) until I was in college.

So this is my TV nostalgia:

I calls it as a sees it. You know you're shit very well. I on the other hand, lack the attention span required to watch dramas. One shot sitcoms like Family Guy are for me. And News.

Well, thank you. :)

Other than cartoon sitcoms like Family Guy, or British sitcoms, I've just never been much of a sitcom person. I have no idea why. I like comedy, a LOT (I mean, all the ideas I have for operas are comedies), just not in that particular form?

Aren't they making a remake to powerpuff girls? I think most everyone on this forum still watches cartoon. xD

They are remaking the Flinstones later this year. Seth MacFarlane is doing it, so it will be funny.

@<a href="http://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/member.php?u=56713" target="_blank">Booster Gold</a>; Supposedly they're making a new TV show out of it. I don't know how to feel about it. The only good thing I've heard coming out of it is that Ringo Starr is involved (which maybe only means something to me as a Beatlemaniac, haha).

They are remaking the Flinstones later this year. Seth MacFarlane is doing it, so it will be funny.

Eh, I don't think everything he does is funny. His Oscars hosting, for example, left a lot to be desired.

The only show of his I really like is Family Guy, and even then, I don't always like it.

I loved Ted, though.

Also this earned him a lot of points in my book:

Ah! ted xD

I personally don't think Seth MacFarlane is all what he's cracked up to be. I mean family guy is funny but his other stuff as funny as he is is missing something.

His stand up sucks, I know that, but his shows are extremely funny.

Try watching Ted with your mother. Talk about awkwardness. She loves Family Guy as well. That's why I went with her.

I actually did go see Ted with my mom.

Because my stepdad is the world's biggest Family Guy fan, so we all went to see it when the power in our house went out last summer and we needed something to do.
